Lag in survival is just not okay...

So I'm on DZ02 rooftop, all golds, 190k toughs, just finished farming landmarks and was carrying 6 survival caches. Called in the chopper and eagerly awaited my friend to pay me a visit. Normally two headshots and its a wrap but he was being extra annoying and the lag wasn't helping. He pops out of cover and comes moving toward me I was behind wall next to helipad. I hit him once with M44 but then quickly switched to G36C to finish him off. Unload my clip into him knowing it was more than enough to put him down.

Well as my bullets are sinking into him he comes tumbling over the wall, the last bullets go into him and he had maybe a pixel of HP left. Well the game doesn't know he's dead yet (lag). Somehow he manages to finish his tumble and start his up-close melee animation on me. Of course he manages to down me with an electric uppercut or whatever the hell and does his execution animation and as soon as it finishes he drops dead... right next to me. I start complaining in chat about it and everyone is like I'm OMW but of course no one knows what the hell instance they are in and there was practically no one left because I take my time to gear up and fill up on survival caches.

I sit there for 5 minutes wondering why I even bother, especially considering that after opening probably 50 survival caches now I have only received an Urban MDR (which is garbage) and no named gear pieces. Anyways yeah this is ranty and yeah I am salty but I am sure I will be doing the same thing tomorrow night.... fml.

Yeah I had a similar issue today.

The red trash mobs were dying while I was reloading, easily half a second lag maybe even more, the worst thing is I wasted so many med-kits getting sniped and shot when I was behind cover but the server thought otherwise.
But anyway I made it through got the anti virals, missed another players chopper by about 5 seconds despite the game saying I had 60, very strange. So I called in my own chopper and then had to fight the hunter but with at least 500 ms lag it was next to impossible, and he eventually killed me.

Are there any Australian servers because I never seem to get a decent ping, so much so its not worth playing survival!

Yeah, I mean I get there is going to be some lag, sometimes but there seems to always be a base amount of lag in survival. Enemies do not die until a second or two enough bullets hit them, you think you looted an item but then realize the player steps behind you actually did and fighting the hunter with lag is just not fun.

If they cannot get a handle on the lag then they need to compensate for that by not having enemies spam grenades that hit you even though you have been out of the red for a good 2-3 seconds and hunters shouldn't be teleporting and flipping all over the place if they have the capability to one shot AND down you.

Generally it is manageable and you can adjust your play to deal with it but there's those moments where you get totally screwed by the lag and it really blows to waste an hour or more and walk away with nothing.

I had some lag issues on the day 1.5 dropped on Xbox One, but after that first day I have yet to have any latency issues. The only real problem I have is memory leaks, after about an hour of playing it will degrade more and more and I have to close division and re-load.

I found a fix for memory leak.

I had this problem whenever I played Division Survival and I went into the DZ, I started lagging uncontrollably. FPS slowly degraded, while getting closer and closer to the DZ. Then I came across this thread when you said that this was probably a memory leak. So I researched and came across that you need to change the page file, which is a file in your drive that is automatially managed by Windows. What it does though is that for an example whenever your RAM usage starts getting full it transfers some of the used RAM to the page file and the more is in there, the more lag you get. So how do you fix this lag and tweak the page file settings to your liking? Well, I watched this video and it helped me a ton.
