Hello there Lownes001, welcome to the Ubisoft forums!

It can be hard to tell from the specs you posted, but are you running on a laptop? Mobile graphics cards may work, but are not officially supported for Far Cry Primal. The full PC requirements can be found here.

If you do meet the system requirements, here's two further suggestions.

    1) Make sure that Uplay and Far Cry Primal are installed on the same drive as your operating system (typically the C: drive)
    2) Try running the game in a clean boot on your PC. If the game runs with a clean boot, then the issue may be caused by a conflicting background/startup application.

If the issue persists after those, stay in touch on your support ticket so our agent can offer further assistance!

Far Cry Primal has stopped working

I'm having the same problem. I am running windows 10 and have a fresh install. When I installed I did not do the latest lengthy upgrade because I wanted to see what happened. It did not run and acted like the video in the thread. I then tried the long upgrade and then tried again and it worked - once. I then closed the game and took the dog for a walk, when I returned the pc was doing another upgrade and the game never worked again. A little touchy, don't you think? Any help would be appreciated.

    Running I5 - 2400, 4 core - not currently hyperthreading
    Windows 10
    NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT
    8 g main memory

I would be glad to provide any other info you might need.
