Playstation Dualshock 4 Controller Does NOT Work Natively

My PS4 DS4 controller was advertised to work natively with Watch Dogs 2. It doesn't work at all. Even with the DS4Windows software to make it look like an Xbox 360 controller, it still is completely useless, providing no input at all. If anybody can find a fix for this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the Forums,

Can you try verifying your files in Uplay and restarting? If this doesn't help, please contact our Support team so they can troubleshoot this with you.

    Thanks

I got PS4 Slim which contains the updated PS4 Controller (CUH-ZCT2E). This new Dualshock controller is not detected by the game.

In device manager it's detected as USB\VID_054C&PID_09CC&MI_00\6&EA62474&0&0000

Please Ubisoft add support for these updated Dualshock controllers. It seems only the old ones are detected as of now.

    Thank you

    Same here!

Bought dualshock 4 (new version) + Watch Dogs 2, because it was advertised with native dual shock 4 support...

... just to find out the slim controller is not supported? Please update that, shouldn't be too hard!

My DS4 doesn't accept any input at all when using bluetooth. It works when plugged in via USB, but I don't have a long enough cable. A fix would be very welcome!

Same issue here, new DualShock 4 (ZCT2U) is not detected in Watch Dogs 2, regardless of how I connect it, DualShock 4 wireless adapter or USB. Hoping more posts get this noticed and fixed quick.

    Response

We would really appreciate if the problem is at least "acknowledged" and communicated to devs. Should be fairly easy to implement with a patch -- otherwise, the game is unplayable and I would need to request a refund.
