Would love to see the ghosts have access to a predator drone in this game it could be balanced by making it available at specific times for certain locations for a short time frame of like an hour of in game time and make it unavailable during night raids.
It would make day time assaults more interesting? Thoughts?

After playing around with the quadrotor drone in Watch Dogs 2, I think that the inclusion of a Predator drone in GRW is not necessary. Even without using the electro shocks or explosive payload in WD2, I was able to get a good situational awareness about enemy movement and positions to plan my next move. I check it again from time to time, repositioning it to maintain a tactical advantage. I leave it on station in the air till I'm ready to leave the mission ares. In short, the personal drone works very well even in a non Ghost Recon game, so the one that the Ghosts are equipped with in GRW should suffice.

What would be the lore explanation for unavailability at night (the primary hunting time of the drones) and even their precence in the Bolivian airspace?

I don't see the need for stuff like this.
Then again I don't see the need for Predator either (even if it is a hot summer day ).

But yeah lore wise I don't think Ghosts should have it available in this situation.

I think they should continue behind the idea of Ghosts behind enemy lines and undercover.
That would be to easy/ OP and wouldn't fit in the scenario .

I think story wise, the Cartel wasn't supposed to know that it is a military backed operation. So everything that the Ghosts do must be discreet and they make it look like an inside job or from a business rival.

A hellfire missile through the roof isn't exactly subtle.
