I agree that the Ubi rep was vague on "more than 6 GB of VRAM". I say 6 GB of VRAM is still a LOT of VRAM so load it up and see what your VRAM usage looks like. If it immediately fills up when you launch the game you might have issues.
    uhhm not sure about that
i have 8gb vram and no matter what its not gonna be used up, yet my fps drops when i select ultra.

I apologise for the confusion and the naming of the texture pack. I can confirm, just as "Rawrena" has mentioned before, the High Res Texture Pack and Ultra Texture Pack is he same thing. Here is a link to the FAQ on our Support site that may help clarify the issue further. Please note the first line:

" the Ultra Texture Pack - or High Res Texture Pack, despite the slightly different name, we are talking about the same content "

    Thanks
Understood, but this isn't the question most of us are asking.

When we're in Uplay, we see this texture pack and we can install it.
But when we're in-game, we see this texture pack and it says Not Installed without the ability to install it.
This is problematic, there's a bug somewhere.

Yes we are aware of this UI issue. Please follow this link It has steps to help you determine whether you have the Texture pack installed or not. If you can go into Video Settings > Quality > Texture Resolution and you have the option of "Ultra" than you have it installed.

I hope that answers your questions.

    Thank you, this is it.

A question that is slightly different but related to the same subject: my "Zodiac Killer" pack has an icon on it, unlike my other packs. I was wondering if this meant something special, or if its also an UI issue. I think I have access to the Zodiac Killer content in my game (I have some of the clothes, haven't seen the mission yet) and it shows as installed. I'm just a bit confused as this icon doesn't appear on any other pack except this one.

Hey, the icon represents a mission. The other two items showing in that photo you provided aren't playable missions but clothing and graphic enhancer.

Alright, thank you very much! I was wondering if the Arrow meant "Download" as it's sometime used for it, but that answers it, thank you.
