It would appear that you are doing nothing.
You refuse to allow people to 'name and shame' cheaters quoting 'company policy'. Your argument is that you don't want cheats becoming common knowledge. I call BS on that and I believe the reason you won't allow us to post video evidence of people cheating is that you don't want everyone to know the extent of the problem or that you have been informed about it and have done NOTHING to rectify the issue.
Health regeneration faster than with a support station, players using a Hungry Hog with a ballistic shield, health bars that go down to almost zero but then stop, making players invincible. Rogues on manhunt persistently using the out of a playable area glitches in DZ04 to escape. All of it reported, all of it still occurring and the only thing you do with any conviction whatsoever is remove evidence that it is ongoing and give unconvincing feedback that it is being "looked into".
What does looking into an instance entail exactly? Admitting that the player is cheating? Hard not to with video evidence right? But then what? What is the problem in plugging the out of playable area glitches? Do you not have anyone competent to do that? Can't be bothered? Or have you just given up because a 15 year old pointed out that putting all the code player side was an idea so idiotic it defies belief and you simply have no way to stop people from modding the game to make themselves invincible?
If you have given up, at least let us know so that we can do the same, instead of battling against undefeatable odds whilst you drink coffee and delete evidence of your own failure. I think it is about time someone produced a YouTube channel dedicated specifically to naming and shaming cheaters on the Division to put into perspective just how uncommitted you guys are to fixing your game.
I too have seen quite a large number of videos from different people experiencing cheaters and hackers. Thing is... as long as the System is still not able to detect them... they will never stop using these tools. I have also met my share of hackers in the Dark Zone, which led to the conclusion to simply stay out of it.
When 1.2 hit we had a HUGE glitching problem they did nothing about for about a month. The whole time asking us for help by reporting people we seen glitching. What a joke, they used the in game chat box to type and find people and could see them live in real time on twitch. Then they started by give people a 3 or 5 day temp ban and some a perm ban ( so they clamed) and it got a little better. Now its all back and again they seem to be doing nothing, I did not even sign into the forum till about 3 months ago because I was looking for some info on some one who should have had a PERM BAN but I found him online again. After checking the forums I found some one else about 3 weeks before me was on here asking the same question.
He turned in a ticket with all the info you could ask for.
He gave a link to a YT video that you can clearly see him running a CHEAT not a glitch.
On that same video the DBag BRAGS in the chat box about how long he has bean running cheats.
He then brags about how many times some one has said they have turned him in but has NEVER got even a temp ban.
I would give you the YT link but they would just erase is again like last time but private msg me if you wish to see the tickets (Mine and another poster) and video.
The only info I have gotten from anyone on this is that they now do PERM BANS on FIRST OFFENCE (if proven I would think). I have asked multiple times what more info we need to give them but they have never msged back but others that bring this up too much seem to have there msg edited or get a temp ban from the forums. So I gave up reporting and asking questions.
The thing is they are waisting their time if they try to use code to track cheats on this type of setup. Its too bad they are ignoreing the people that take the time to
Fill out a ticket with all the info
Give a link to YT so we can give a FULL video so they do NOT ban some one by mistake.
Take the time to DVR, convert, edit, upload the video
They could have just 1 or 2 people check the reports and do more with out any code work of any kind.
And if anyone reports a person for cheating 3 or more time with out good proof then give the person reporting a 3 or 7 day ban to keep the work load down!
