    Would of liked Survival to been............

    Minimal crafting but you start of with basic gear like how it is now.

    • The map should have 9 safe houses on each part of the map (north-south-east-west) for spawn spots and more randomness.
    • Lets say you start of in the south, you land with basic gear and your objective is to reach each safe house.
    • You can only unlock one safe house at a time!! so they must be done in order from 1 - 9 in a route that leads to the DZ.
    • In each safe house you can choose one piece of gear in your stash so by the time you reach safe house 9 you should be fully equipped with your chosen gear.
    • Whilst traveling from safe house 1 too 9 you will bump into masses of enemies that grow in size and difficulty the more closer you get too safe house 9
    • Also in safe house 9 you get to craft a mask for the DZ
    • Once this is done you can enter the DZ and then you start looking for crafting parts to make a flare gun whilst at the same time fight like crazy with enemies who guard the parts.

    Love the idea (make it a proper survival game no timer just go out and survive and craft gear etc etc etc.

    I did something similar to this in a post ages ago but there was also a hidden safehouse with the antivirals in it but you needed to find clues to get to that safehouse but anyway anything would be a bit better than the timed survival mission we have now.

    I love the map and mechanics and everything it has (bar the stupid timer) this is supposed to be an expansion more than just DLC what we get is kinda disappointing in regards to the length of time you get to play it.

    I would love it to be an ongoing instance so you can play as long as you want . etc etc etc

    Forgot to add, separate XP bar for the more kills you do the more you can un-lock skills

    I like it. It's definitely better than the current version.

    I'd like to be able to simply activate 'Survival mode'.

    For me this would be the game world as it is now, but in the grip of the storm and with a need to manage cold, hunger, thirst. I'd replace the need for meds with a need to collect power cells to keep skills operating correctly.

    I'd then have locations around the entire map, (LZ and DZ), that may contain vital data for curing the green poison.
    These would either be defended by the usual factions or hunters. These locations could also be within the areas of the story missions. Clearing each of these would reward a standard world tier reward or a basic cache.
    Anything from the DZ would also need to be extracted.

    I'd have three modes for this:

    PvP (PvP across the entire map).
    PvE (multiplayer across the entire map).
    Private (group or solo play across the entire map scaled to solo or group size).

    This is something I'd play!

    The current Survival isn't worth the HD space!

    Like that'll happen ( I have lkittle faith they will even read or take notice of idea's like yours/mine or the OP's

    Heck I wouldn't mind if they just removed the timer on it and let us play survival as a survival game (for people to go in and SURVIVE as long as they want (with a Food/drink/meds/clothes/weapons/gear restock every 24 hours)

    the map the weather the mechanics the crafting it's all spot on but ruined by the 1 hour timer and the need to start from 0 and a new character every time (why can't we progress our characters for as long as we want while trying to survive.)
