Before I get started, I'd just like to say this isn't necessarily a complaint. Just a thought that could further the ability of us players to customize our agents and their loadouts. As the game stands now there is nothing wrong with the weapon mods, but this could help out some of us that like to put a lot of time into customizing our character.

The Issue
In the games current state certain variations of weapon mods are locked to a single primary attribute. Rendering this mod useless if the primary attribute doesn't work with our build. An example would be the under-barrel modifications available to us: Small Grip, Vertical Grip, Angled Grip, Small Laser Pointer, PEQ Laser, and Handstop. I understand that some of these modifications having stability as a primary attribute just wouldn't make much sense, but for the ones that are logically sound however... I've always been a fan of the classic look of the Vertical Grip. The Vertical Grip's primary attribute is +Optimal Range which just isn't a stat I want on my G36C.

Solution
Unlock the primary attribute slot for weapon modifications in such a way that as players we could obtain a Vertical Grip with the primary attribute Stability or perhaps a Handstop with Critical Hit Damage. This can be said for the optics as well. Why can't my Rugged Mini Reflex Sight have Stability like the Small RDS Sight?

Other Thoughts

  • Stability on a Small Laser Pointer or the PEQ Laser could be weird.
  • If a Handstop can give us reload speed why can't an Angled Grip or a Small Grip?
  • Perhaps add different blueprint versions of each Mod. A vendor might sell both a Vertical Grip Blueprint with primary attribute Stability and another Vertical Grip Blueprint with primary stat Reload Speed.
