So i been geting alot of Sentrys so i made a *Sniper* set lol 8100 Fire arms 250 Thou and 60% armor
and 2 snipers, the news ones 256 50k crit ISH but in PVE. its not even what good Clear sky MAP 2 and u need 2 hits on a no Elite
over 300k dps the Sniper role is dead..
just leting you know .. about the spec before you use money on it on that firearm built

What i can recommend is, two players will have sentry and deadeye build. Those two should communicate to each other during the fights, and these two will stay as far as they can, but can still hit head shots to NPCs. The sentry guy will be the "Spotter" and the DE guy will do the rest. And yeah, there a role play for this game, though players dont utilize or use it as its just not their taste.

Snipers are down from way over 700.000K damage to around 250k, even when you "overdone" it.. and even with the 700k headshot damage there have been enemies that could still walk away..
NOW, with patch 1.4. the snipers have been removed from the game and DMR or trivial "scouts" have been added.. fast firing rifles with mediocre damage on very close ranges.. like the SVD, SOCOM and M1A.. there are no snipers in the game anymore.. even with the bolt action snipers you still need 20 headshots against a heavy .. 2 would be OK.. 20 is , yeah forget it.
problem is, AGAIN; the horrible mix of PvP and PvE.. Snipers SHOULD OHK an enemy.. but you cant have OHK with PvP since it would be "unfair" so they removed the snipers ability to headshot someone in a decent time ,and thus removed the snipers from the game alltogether..
simple strategy.. what SHOULD work in PvE should NOT work in PvP.. i am just wondering when the industry will finally give up on that stupid try to mash PvE/PvP together.. ? did not work properly in Destiny, doesnt work at all in Division.. weapons need different stats in pve and pvp. final period..
They have made PvE/PvP possible by allowing us to configure the stats on our gear.
My PvP builds are always different from my PvE builds. For me it makes the game more interesting.
An example is we can roll dmg to elites on all gear items and ferocious talent on guns. We dont need extra dmg for non elites because they are so easy.
Also for PvE we can sacrifice things like armor and dmg resiliences for additional dmg.
With regards to snipers, my deadeye sniper is doing 460k per bullet to elites. This is an acceptable figure for me. Solo, I can run through challenging underground. In a 4 man group it takes many more bullets. But of coarse it needs to! Otherwise i will be killing everyone before my team can join in.
