is there anyone NOT running armor on all possible places

I mean: someone who is a stats-guy and actually KNOWS what he is missing out on.

    I am honestly interested.

if you want to hear my opinion: I really cannot understand why Massive made it so that the "choice" is no actual choice anymore.
I'd love to use Mods that have something like Skill Power or whatever. But it just does not make sense.

I was running 39% armor in T5 for awhile. It wasn;t that bad.

Damage to elites on kneepads for pve, others armor I think. Maybe will drop backpack too for CD for sniper build.

well - the mask does not roll with armor anyway...

but I'd defintely recommend you put armor on the backpack. it is a big chunk to miss out on.
sadly! I have always been running skillpower on my backpacks before.

why not roll armor destruction as minor stat on kneepads? thats similar to damage to elites and works on more enemies.

that way you could put on armor as major stat.

I tend to roll armour on all pieces i can and use the mod slots to refine my firearms/electronics etc. I have managed to find some firearms/electronic mods with armour rolled on them as well, which allows me to keep up my mitigation percentage while fettling my build.

Armour is the single most important stat in the game, so yeah, I roll with that at all times on every piece of gear and mod that can have it.

I roll both, dte and ead, you dont need full armor for pve.

I think the main problem is how armor works in this game.
The fact that every further point of mitigation does actually do MORE than the previous point.

for example: remember how Exotic Damage resilience used to work:

    90% compared to 50% meant receiving 5 times (!!!) less damage - not 40%

this results in people trying to get EVERY possible armor-point they can get.
    which is boring, right ?
