    GPS line in Survival?

Why is there no GPS line in Survival? Or is it a bug? I am on Xbox One.

I think it's supposed to be like that, would be a bit pointless putting you in a blinding blizzard snow storm and then give you a big orange line to follow?!?

Same reason you don't get a mini map.

Because the storm is cutting all the communications to base and all gps.... says right in the cutscene lol

That GPS is only a hindrance. Some places like Stuyvesant and other parts of LZ you are better off ignoring it.

Because if you're going out in a freezing blizzard you wouldn't have your best gear on for it, would you? The storyline doesn't make a lick of sense.

The stuff you had got lost/burned/stolen with the helo crash. You end up wounded and only with the basics. Makes sense to me. Even if it didn't its game mechanics, so the narrative sense is just part of bigger picture.

But then I wouldn't have it once I was out of survival.... still fails the logic test. 1's and 0's, true and false.....

It's a mission you get posted to. Considering the Division is spec ops unit I get you and you are right that the person would be personally responsible for gearing up and it will most likely be yours. But normally you carry mission specific stuff on you/with you. So if anything breaks, disappears on you not a problem, you'll get issued new stuff.
