That isn't the problem, the problem is all the named weapons suck. The Caduceus was the one named weapon that didn't suck, so massive took away the one talent that made it good. Either the weapons need to have a higher drop rate or they need to not suck. But a crappy drop rate for sucky weapons and, well, that's part of the reason they lost 97% of their player base and 100% of their reputation.Originally Posted by Easy_Duhz_It_ Go to original post
Please tell me youre not this dense in real life. What part of this arent you getting?Originally Posted by Easy_Duhz_It_ Go to original post
Ex... Old School Caducius...very hard to get but when you do you are guarateed to have Coolheaded in the 3rd slot. Thats why people do Amherst Apartment endlessly.
Named gear have Destiny type drop rates and Dioblo's Stat RNG....not a good combo.
Yes....Im the dense one.Originally Posted by S3anS3an Go to original postMeanwhile you're in here crying about RANDOM gear not having fixed stats. FIXED stats wouldnt make it RANDOM, would it?
Two years of playing and didn't get a drop for an item and you didn't find it a valid reason to voice a complaint?Originally Posted by Easy_Duhz_It_ Go to original post
Items should not be a 2nd job to obtain. One suggestion I have for Ubisoft is to give specific tasks for Items.
For example,
to obtain Skull gloves: Complete Clear Sky Challenging under x many minutes and Kill 300 LMB,
to obtain the baron's chest piece: complete lexington solo, under x many minutes without dying.
This would a) solve the drop rate complaint b) people can farm for these items as much as they'd like to get the perfect rolls for their builds.
The alternative is be like Easy here who plays a game for 2 years and doesnt get a drop or like me who has been smashing lexington since 1.3 for the showstopper and have never got it.
And those who did get it by chance, now have to spend another x many months grinding the same mission again and again and again and might never see it again.
For one, ive never grinded for specific gear like "its my job" because I have an actual job. And because Ive had better gear and better weapons in both games. The Showstopper is crap and if you're the type to grind Lexington all day every day for that hunk of junk, my condolences. Also, contrary to the fools belief, you can get The Showstopper in other missions.Originally Posted by zknight4 Go to original post
You are going to hate me (hate the RNG, not the player); but I logged in day 1 of 1.5, got together with 2 other friends, went directly to Bullet King to start a boss farm for 256 gear, and boom! Skulll MC gloves.
Overall, though, the RNG for named pieces is not that bad, rare pieces should be rare... the RNG on crafting, however, now THAT is awful. That should not be. Players should create the build that they want, not the build a roll of cyber dice allows them to build.
welcome to grindinghope ur gonna like it
I can remember a time in diablo3 where the holy grale of weapons for wizards was a drop once every 1-2 month of play ..and it didnt came w/ fix roll/stat..
So 2-3 days or even a week isnt that bad for a grinding game to get ur item
Because remember if nothing is left to farm in a grinding game, no reason to play anymore...Look at Diablo3 again, atm people have cry about rng in d3 that we are at a point where u get a full stuff in a week and get bored the week after. D3 is dead because of this..so dont make the division die the same way pls
At this point Ive completed my Alpha Bridge build...weapons and all without the gloves dropping once. Dont even care about getting them now.
I was able to get 8 pieces of gear that I wanted and get them mid/maxed before I was able to get the Skulls MC gloves to drop eventhough I complete the open world boss runs twice a day. What a shame.
