Thanx for the response and for filling in some of the blanks. I think in future a winners list should be published, with any privacy rights waived when entering the competition. It's a bit like saying the Premiership was won or the London marathon was won, without announcing who.

Any company holding a competition doesn't have to do any more than their rules state and we can't do anything about it.
There were no extra, long-winded rules (small print) on top of the 'Community News - Takedown Challenge'...

Not a single extra 'detail' as to the 'rules' has to be explained and not a piece of extra information has to be mentioned at the end.
Competitions can take many forms regarding their level of detail. This one was 'wide open'.
