My Showstopper procs at 450K dps from a base dps of 227K. I hardly consider that middle ground.Originally Posted by Ciftci88 Go to original post
For those who know how to build it right, it's pretty devastating against bosses and heavy gunners.
I can't remember what sustained was, but swift my not be needed. Recalibrate one of those for Responsive. Avoid trying to make Showstopper another M870. It's not that type of shotgun. The biggest strength, and do emphasize that, is its full-auto mode. If you're not utilizing the full-auto firing capabilities of Showstopper, then you're not using it right.Originally Posted by Ciftci88 Go to original post
Engagement range for full-auto is between 10-15 feet. It's a very close range.
The best gear set to achieve that high dps is 4 piece Striker. You'd probably want to run Savage gloves as well. I don't use them just because I'm pimping my ride. Lol.
My toughness is 218K at 54% armor mitigation, 17.5% critical hit chance, 30% enemy armor damage.Originally Posted by Ciftci88 Go to original post
Try to focus your gear towards enemy armor damage and critical hit chance, and of course armor when you can.
Gloves need to have Shotgun damage rolled.
My firearms is about 6K and my Showstopper base damage is 52K with Brutal and Responsive rolled.
Lastly, 80% of your damage dealt will be body shots. That's why Responsive is far better than Brutal. Ideally, I'd want Destructive and Responsive rolled. Or something with Critical Hit Chance and Responsive. Hope this helps.Originally Posted by Ciftci88 Go to original post
I forgot, Tactical Link is a must for Showstopper. It helps destroy those heavies really fast.Originally Posted by Ciftci88 Go to original post
Specialized backpack helps with the Skill Power too. That's what I use.Originally Posted by Ciftci88 Go to original post
