Really noob question about defusing. | Forums

I've played a good few hours online and am rank 56 or so but today I felt like a clown.

I was the last one versus two people. They'd planted the bomb.. I killed one... stormed into the room and killed the second and ran about the room looking for the defuser. The comm said 'defuser uncovered' or someone but for the love of god I couldn't see it anywhere so I ran out of time.

I then realised the defuser was hidden invisible under the corpse of someone I'd killed.

What could I have done differently? When you run around the room and discover the defuser... does the hud show you where it is exactly?

OMG. I haven't had this yet. Wish you could have screenshot it... That was some epic cheese. Normally, if the defuser is seen, which means that "the screen sees it, but maybe you don't", it will appear like the resupply, rook's armor, protect. But in this case, it will appear as defuse/destroy. Suprsingly it didn't appear, and it was under a corpse of someone. WOW. That's not a noob question, I am like 91 and never have had that yet, a defuser under someone's corpse, what a pity... That's not a noob move or a stupid move... Normally it should appear once your screen catches the view of it...

Yeh cus I was screaming down the mic 'where is it?!?!?' But no one had a mic and so I stood right beside the bomb and looked down at a corpse and the defuse button prompt appeared but by then I'd two seconds left and the round ended. I felt like a clampet!

But I just wanted to know if when it was discovered on screen did it show you exactly where it was and I was just missing it cus I was panicking

happened to me yesterday, got 3 kills and with 18 seconds left i raced around the room, ran out of time, then asked enemy team where the defuser was... they said it was under Monty's corpse XD LOL.

No there's no indicator that i know of, it's just a prop object that you need to know where it is and what it looks like, else you miss it. Even under dead bodies.

So that highlighted part is actually not completely accurate... I think most people are turning the in game voice chat off, as it is really really bad... Most of the time, you are to low, and at some rare times you actually have decent pickup... So I think Ubisoft needs to fix this... the in game Voice Chat is in my opinion mostly structured for consoles... for PC it's really not working at all as it should... About the defuser, that's a new one... and I would guess a BUG/glitch as there are a ton of them in this game =)
