Hi, today i bought FarCry Primal. Looks like a good game, played the whole sequel, like it verry much.
BUT, one MAIN problem, the lightning or shadowing, however you want to call it is HORIBLE!!!
When i walk into the shadows, i cant see ANYTHING except BLINDING light everywhere arround. When im in the light, shadows are completely black (that shadows... i could live with).
Anyone have explanation or tips how to fix it? Because i dont think even remotely that this blinding "feature" is intentional.
Screenshot for a good laugh... I mean COMON? how i can kill a god damn enemy when i cant even see... Not to mention avoiding bears...
btw, the screen is taken after im looking into the light for a while...

Hey there micinkaa, thanks for posting those screenshots. I don't know exactly what's causing the issue: it could be a variety of factors from graphics card issues, installation issues, monitor settings, etc. I can walk you through a few steps that may help.
1) Please make sure that all of your graphics card drivers are updated. AMD graphics card or NVidea graphics card home pages.
2) Can you please run Uplay as an administrator and see if that fixes the issue? You can run the program as an administrator by right-clicking on the Uplay icon and selecting "Run as administrator".
3) Try adjusting any in-game video settings. If there are none, try adjusting the brightness/other settings on your monitor.
If you continue to have an issue at that point, you will want to reach out to our technical team with any details and your system files as described here for further investigation.
@micinkaa I am also experiencing what you describe making the game unplayable. Started happening at approx 20% completion with no obvious trigger I can recall. Did you ever find a fix?
I've contacted support and offered the files they ask for. Hopefully they'll have an answer.
Been a week and never heard back from Tech Support. Was all set to use Shadowplay and record some footage of the problem when, whaddaya know, everything is as it should be. Which is good news, I suppose. Lets hope it doesn't happen again.
@micinkaa might be worth trying it again. Its a great game when it works!
Oh dear, today we're back to suffering these strange issues.
I've recorded a 6 min video to better demonstrate what I'm suffering:

A response received from Tech Support. Unfortunately none of the suggestions resolved my issue.
