Uniform Idea for the DEVGRU Operators in Siege AKA-Blackbeard and Valkyrie

Hello fellow Operators and Admins! Remember to Rate! (If you don't mind please comment, I appreciate the feedback!)

Noticing how the whole Battle Dress Uniforms have come to life I have a hope that this idea will be taken into consideration.

Ever since I've started to play Rainbow 6 Siege I loved the fact how the US Navy SEALs were added to the game. I began to play when Season 2 almost ended so I didn't have time to enjoy the Awesome SEALs Wallpaper in the Menu, but I'm shifting away from the idea. Here goes!

Noticing when you go to the Navy SEAL Section in the Counter Terrorist Unit you see that the Logo used in the CTU Menu for the SEALs is the DEVGRU Insignia. So I'm adressing the Operators as DEVGRU and not SEALs. DEVGRU are still SEALS though, just the Tier 1 Verison

(For those who don't know what DEVGRU is........................ Have you every heard of SEAL Team 6? Well that's the name the public knows them by. Originally SEAL Team 6 was disbanded in 1987 and it then was renamed the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) or DEVGRU for short. DEVGRU is basically the Naval counterpart of 1st SFOD-D i.e Delta.)

I was rather confused of why Blackbeard and Valkyrie were using Multicam Camouflage rather than AOR1 or AOR2 (A form of Digital Camo made by the US Navy and used by SEALs and DEVGRU). Now I'm not saying they don't use Multicam because they do, just not as much as AOR1 and AOR2. AOR1 and 2 do show up in Siege though, but as Headgear Cosmetics.

Not to sound like a downer but I was rather saddened to see that both Blackbeard and Valkyrie looked like if they where in a shooting range (Due to them having light Gear like the Crye Precision JPC) instead of a Raid where they would have more heavier Gear and be ready for anything. They look good, but they can look better.

What Blackbeard and Valkyrie look like now

Now going to my Idea I was wondering if the Devs back at Ubisoft can look at these reference pictures for ideas if they were to add a uniform to the SEALs.

If anyone likes this idea, take time to look at the pictures I provided and back me up! I hope this turns from a dream to a reality!

*I can provide more pictures if needed*

I know the list is long but please bare with me and check it out................its worth it! (I have to make it long so the Community can understand where I'm going with this.

This is the Logo that appears in the CTU so it matches with DEVGRU

With this is what they can look like. *Disclaimer* There is no pictures of Women is SEALs because the United States Special Operations Command does not allow Women in Special Operations- sorry that's just how it is.

Hmm, I guess that's a fair point. At the very least it should be an alternative uniform.

Whoa nice. Are you a soldier yourself? Great eye for detail. But I think 98% didn't notice and 70% don't really think it's a problem. Altough it would be nice if someone would actually do something with your advice just for the sake of authenticity

    Hey Dikke_Neus,

Yeah about being a soldier............ well I'm not one, but I'm a US Military Supporter and I just love the Gear, Weapons, Special Operations, Heritage, etc of the US Military. Hope to join the USMC in the future though so there's that. I'm a gear finder and that's pretty much the reason why I know all this stuff. I agree on your point about the whole 98% didn't notice and 70% don't think its a problem because (Not to sound like if I'm superior since I'm not) the average Siege player doesn't really know exactly how some CTUs look like so they that it as that's their true appearance, when really its not, you make a great point though. I love Siege for its realism and intervention of Counter Terrorist Units( Plus Siege in general is a fun game to play) but when it comes to Authenticity, (especially in gear) I have strict standards for it (Not that the game was made for me, because it obviously wasn't). Noticing how this is Ubisoft I heavily believe that this is possible since its Ubisoft and they are the ones making the Rainbow Six games. They got Buck and Frost perfect, but I feel like SAS and FBI SWAT look like if they are from the 90s and the SEALs can be improved to look like if they are conducting a raid rather than being down at the shooting range. Overall I think their appearance can be improved so people can say "Hey these guys look awesome! I wonder whats that called that He/She is wearing!" because it makes more people thinking not only in the Weapons of CTUs but in the Gear too. I think you know this already but if I had to choose between the Blackbeard now and the Blackbeard that could be (and same goes to Valkyrie) , well I'd choose the one that could be because it is more Authentic and relevant to the situation.

    Thanks for the Feedback!

Yeah I'm in the USMC Poolee system right now. Plan on using the marines for a medical bridge to the navy so I can be a corpsman and work to be an FMF Corpsman. Then plan on being a SARC for MARSOC and stuff. Would be nifty.
All this is accurate and I'm one about realism and accuracy. You're entirely right about the camo and the plate set ups, what's even more confusing is how light Valkyrie looks and has more armor than someone like Jaeger when he has a bigger plate protecting him.
Same thing with Echo being heavy armored when he has the same plate carrier as his female counterpart, but oh well.

I agree they should have AOR1 uniforms which is the camo they are wearing in photos although they are adding 100 new operators they are most likely going to add 2 more operators to the DLC CTU's because they only have 2 operators with the vanilla operators having 4 per CTU also i strongly disagree with Ubisofts decision to add as many female operators as they have because a tiny almost non-existent percentage of Special Forces operators are female they are not interested in this line of work why would they be they also have physical limitations like more body fat less overall muscle mass and being more prone to stress fractures and the fact that they made a female SEAL operator and are claiming she is in the Naval Special Warfare Development Group is ridiculous the first female candidate for BUD/S dropped out in the first week apparently the 3rd day they are ruining the realism that they brought to the FPS genre aesthetically and in other ways like damage not matching up to Bullet caliber you can tell that they do there research on the CTUs and they add diversity and ridiculous outfits any way.
