Far Cry 3 on my laptop

    Hey guys,

I bought Far Cry back in the days and i decided to play it on my new laptop, but it doesn't have a CD player, I copy/paste all files of the 2 CD's, and execute them on my laptop, surprisingly for me it has worked but when I launch the game (from Uplay) it starts, but I have the error message "Far Cry stopped working" does anyone have a solution ? (Yes, I updated succesfully the game from Uplay)

    Thanks for the answers

EDIT : level editor is working

Hey mewen, there are a couple of things that you can try. Set the game and the Uplay launcher to both run as admin. Then, run the game in Compatibility Mode for one of the following: Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1) or Windows 8. If the game still isn't launching correctly, open Uplay, select FC3, go to Properties, then select "Verify Files" on the right.

Let us know if any of that helps.

    Same problem

I have the exact same problem, and I'm running Windows 10. I've tried several solutions, but none of them work. The last one I tried was opening task manager and disabling "tablet" -something.

Do you have any solutions known to work for problems on windows 10?
