While the game is gorgeous and the gameplay is fantastic, I have been having a ton of problems.
Character not appearing for 45 seconds when spawning in, not able to access menus
Music consistently cuts out and comes back at random intervals
The game just stops me in the middle of rides, I just freeze in place for about 15 seconds (even while in midair)
What is confusing me is that the game ran perfectly fine the first time I booted it up, but this is the second time I launched it, and along with this, the game took three times as long to launch/load.

in closed beta i had no problems at all but in open i noticed that when i spawn at a place my screen sometimes is black the first 3 seconds and then it fine. not a real game stopper but it does not look right

Are you on PC? Some people are having luck reinstalling Uplay..

You won't need to reinstall Steep when you reinstall Uplay. You may want to make a copy of your save data, just in case. That can be found by navigating here:
<Documents>\My Games\STEEP\<UserProfileID>\
Otherwise, close your Uplay client, uninstall it, and download/install a new copy from uplay.com.

It does that when it's changing the time of day. So if you were in a daytime area and switch to a challenge or area that is nighttime. Mood of the mountain or something! I'd like to be able to set the time of day/weather.
