This has happened to me before, but today it was especially annoying. Waiting for a Bunker race to end, being ready to race if the opponent wins back a track. Last 10 minutes of the race started and I kept staring on the game in the bunker as the opponent stopped racing. Got a sudden burst of real life I assumed, and just waited the race out. I was winning anyway. When the race was up, I'm shown that the opponent had used about a dozen tickets during that time, and indeed won back a track. So I lost because of this issue. Lost several bonus stars too ofcourse.

It is night time here, no-one else is using our internet connection, and speed test for the network shows great speeds and a latency at around 30ms.

Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround?
