Started playing FC4, loving it, but had a question

    Hi,

Just started playing this game, and its really great. I have decided to go back and play FC3 after this also. My question: Is it possible to get every weapon in game, through quest rewards or finding them in a cave or off an enemy? Or, do some weapons you just have to purchase from the Trade closet? If so, is there a list of this some where?

I like to search for stuff and find it and get it for free if possible, but my wallet is full and I have $1 mil already. At this point I am just wasting money, because the signature stuff I haven't "unlocked" yet, which I don't think you can ever get without purchasing it.

    Thanks.

weapons ya pick up become unlocked

yea you can access them in a closet ( pick one up drop it it gets unlocked free )

yes some weapons ya can find along the map and pick up will unlock for free

some weapons also unllock from doing missions and bell towers also

some weapons like signature weapons ..you still have to purchase in the closet

1 million ruppess is not alot of in game cash ..but it should get ya started

make sure you do all crafting , so you can carry 4 weapons at once (thats the limit )

    and upgrade your ammo pouches

Thanks for answering, but can you get EVERY weapon through drops, rewards, towers or quests? Or, are there guns you just have to use your $$$ to purchase? Excluding sig wpns.

IIRC, since it's been awhile; it's a combination for some weapons; you unlock the availability by climbing a tower or story progression, but still must purchase them.

An example - the MS16; unlocked either by climbing 10th tower, or completing Cultural Exchange. It however is not to be found laying around somewhere in the game world.

On the other hand, the D2 shotgun; Climb the 9th tower and/or complete Cultural Exchange to unlock for purchase. It is however available in-game, at a very specific location (no spoiler).

As you progress in the game, it's always a good idea to check all dead enemy NPCs to see what exactly they might have on them, especially side arms.

Hope that helps, and that IRC ....

Actually, at least the Harpoon Gun is a DLC-exclusive item. Though I've been able to use it in custom maps, it isn't around in the base game I think.

Though, perhaps someone with the gun & DLC can join your coop game, and give you the Harpoon gun. Not sure if that would unlock it for you too. :P

I just got to the north, and the game is starting to fall off. I am 47% in, and I have almost all the skills. So what exactly am I playing the rest of the 53% for?

Don't get me wrong, I am thoroughly impressed by the game. Pagan is a great villain, and the storyline between Sabal and the other girl, I forget her name, is awesome too. But, have I reached the end of the progression? I have like 3 skills left which I havent picked I think and two of them are just "incease syringe by 5 secs" and 1 is "6 health bars".

The weapons I already got. Am I going to find some more progression, or is that it? If that's it, then I am happy and money well spent. If there is more, than I am happier.
