Sadly this is a major reason why games are just not as fun as they used to be. Games are now strictly built from the ground up to be money generators first and only just fun enough to keep you around to buy a season pass, special edition, or some kind of microtransaction item.

Is anyone really suprised though? It's been like this for at least 5-10 years now. Despite ubisoft being ubisoft, R6 Siege is pretty fun.
