Every month, the Rocksmith team sends out a newsletter recapping the previous month's DLC and throws out a few hints for what's coming soon. However, it's not clear how to sign up for this newsletter, so here's some step-by-step instructions.
First, you'll need a Ubisoft Club account. If you're posting in the forums, you have one -- skip to the next step! If not, this is the same account that rewards you with points for playing Ubisoft games and lets you unlock bonus content like the Karawan song, bonus arrangements for other tracks, and the Ubisoft logo inlay in-game. Head to club.ubisoft.com to sign up for a free Ubisoft Club account. Once you've logged in, choose Account Management from the dropdown in the upper right menu.
If you already have a Ubisoft account, you can go directly to https://account.ubisoft.com and sign in there.
Go to Account Information, then under Personal Information, choose Contact Preferences. Choose "Click here to manage your subscriptions."
[Edit -UbiVertigo]This option is now an all-or-nothing toggle. When you check for "exclusive content and offers", you should start receiving the monthly newsletter (along with other Ubisoft messages). If not, please reply to this thread so that we can attempt to help troubleshoot. [/Edit]
Remember, you can always opt out of the newsletter any time you want using the same process.
Hope that helps!

Never had any newsletter in my Spam box either... just the usual promise of viagra, etc. No other filters have been set up on this account.Originally Posted by DanAmrich Go to original post
Sad to say, I'm in the same situation. Just double checked my settings and they're set to "once a week", but alas, nothing. And nothing in my spam folder either.Originally Posted by MartynQ Go to original post
I have two oddities to report: I evidently set it to once a week a while ago, but I realise I've never received the newsletter. Secondly, I get the Chinese language account page! Fortunately I actually do understand Chinese, although I learned simplified script and not the traditional that the page is written in, so I'm not completely lost, but it's still less than ideal...
It is said that this ritual described above will unleash a maelstrom of quasi-magical energies that will adhere to only the purest of hearts. To shield yourself, you must travel to Seattle, and seek out the mighty Grunge. Do not be fooled by his smells or his protestations that he is not the one you seek. Follow him to the cave of Underheap. There you will find a vat of goat's milk and a riff painted on the wall. Summon your bandmates for they must be sacrificed. Play, hero, play that heathen riff while you dial up this ancient website and click! Click to the heavens! Fray your Ernie Ball Slinky's! You will know the time is upon you when the band is possessed by the Abyss. Then you will receive the sacred writings.
I'll let you know how it turns out.
