I've been running a new character in 1.4 to help a buddy that just got the game. I had to do Brooklyn by myself since he had already made it to Manhattan and I found it fairly easy as I've done the mission before, but its certainly not any harder than before. The only advice I can give is to make sure you loot the 4 chests that are in Brooklyn to get some free better gear. I normally do the 3 small missions and then grab the 4 chests.
I thought all along this was on the Secure Quarantine mission that is required to open up underground, is it not? I'm lost here. lolOriginally Posted by SKORPIQN Go to original post
Is OP talking about the mission at the Brooklyn police station? Its so far back in my memory, I don't even remember how I did, lol. even on my alts
Is a question...Originally Posted by fixer7267 Go to original post
Your point?
We get it, you're amazing everyone else is awful. We all bow to how wonderful you are.Originally Posted by SKORPIQN Go to original post
Anyway the point is, Ubisoft/Massive are shooting themselves in the foot. If the early game is turning people away they aren't going to sell their expansions or costume trinkets to them. I can say I fall into that category. I was debating the expansion but it doesn't seem worth it if all it will cause is more frustration. The adjustments made in the recent patches seem to disregard how it affects the experience prior to level 30 play and that's a real shame/oversight on the part of the development team.
Stop being a toss, victims arent attractive. Neither are over reactions.Originally Posted by Greenjo Go to original post
The game is in a great place, let me know when you plan on answering my question... Otherwise just hush.
Like it isn't out of the realm of possibility for Massive to screw up the balance of the early part of the game by the changes they made to armor in the end game and to general NPC AI. If you're supposed to be learning the game and you're in no armor and the AI is flanking and rushing like it's an incursion, some people might have problems.Originally Posted by SKORPIQN Go to original post
No one is overreacting or playing a victim, There is a valid point being made here which I already stated. You can choose to disagree but insulting, outright dismissing viewpoints and being an internet toughguy are probably the least attractive traits someone can have.Originally Posted by SKORPIQN Go to original post

*facepalm*
Hmm, I just deleted a character and ran the tutorial. Sorry folks. I had zero problems with the final mission.
How are you running it to find it hard? Are you trying to stand up and kill npcs with one long stream of rounds? Are you trying to rush the enemy close up? did you think the shotgun was cool?
I think people are dieing because you are trying to be to gung ho. Stop pretending your US marines. Theres a reason they high casulty rates.
Stay behind cover. Pop up and put a couple of rounds in to the enemy. Take cover. Rinse and repeat. Save your grenades for the boss. Use explosive barrels and fuel cans when you can. Don't pop med kits the first time you get shot.
Having quit this game for a while due to frustration with hackers and all the bugs, I decided to come back after this recent patch and start fresh. Honestly that intro tutorial mission felt a LITTLE bit tougher but nothing substantial. I actually enjoyed it again.Originally Posted by TG24915193 Go to original post
I hate to say it, but I'm enjoying the game. I loved the 1-30 leveling, the random groupings for missions, and even the difficulty sometimes back when the game launched.
It seems to be how people anticipate the cover/firing to work. You can't just expect to run into the middle and fire away, you'll get mowed down. Take your time.![]()
