I was wondering if this was going to be a troll thread, and I suspect a lot of players will want to attack the op as a bad player because obviously we've all done the mission - but we've not all done it under 1.4 and yeah, the damage to poorly armoured characters is a problem in 1.4, but it just means having to figure things out and play a little smarter. I dont have a character slot to test it out though.
I also died numerous times but I m a first-time player who tried to get used to thge cover system and all. Still....got defeated I dont know how often BUT....I actually find it a nice change to all those games which are managable if you are half-asleep and and have serious coordination problems.
Thing is....I tried out different strategies and was able to improve my survivability chances a LOT. Still died but it was now with the feeling that I got an actual fighting chance so managing in the end gave me a nice feel of achievment. Thats me tho....I can see people getting frustrated about the difficulty level....me...I think its a nice touch.
I'd agree with this. I played through to level 30 when the game first came out. Died here and there but overall it was pretty much okay. Just picked the game up again as supposedly this 1.4 patch made the game more enjoyable for PVE or solo. I've found just the opposite. Leveling up by playing through the game is horrendous now. I don't know what exactly is different but it's awful. I don't think there has been a mission yet where I haven't gotten frustrated. It feels like the enemies rush more which is perhaps the difference or possibly just more bullet spongy or that guys with pistols can shoot you accurately from 100+ yards away.Originally Posted by P00K Go to original post
