...Christ!
What are you trying to sell here? Just saw the E3 Gameplay video and I was shocked by what I saw, probably the worse game I saw this year, it looks like a PS2 remaster gone wrong for the PS3.
I would have been fooled if I hadn't watched that recent Gameplay Video.
First we get this awesome trailer,
Then we get this,
Jesus Christ... Some people will defend you and offend me due to this thread, but I'm saying this for your own good (and mine, since I want this game to be a success), delay the game cause it clearly needs a next-gen update.
Honestly look for The Divison in terms of visuals and UI, that is how a modern shooter should look.Originally Posted by UbiKeeba Go to original post
- Guns, Cars, NPCs and the Player look like Rubber;
- Car colision details are awful (look for The Division for bullet colision and The Crew for normal colisions);
- Ragdoll physics could use some improvement;
- UI looks obstructive and like it came from a PS2 game. No one uses a + crosshair anymore, that is old school and obstructive (modern UIs aid the players without covering the entire screen).
This is just some of the problems I can think of from the bottom of mind after watching that gameplay video.
There's no way in hell I would give $50 for a game looking like that in 2016/17, and there's the extra Ubisoft flavour (currently worst Publisher in the market).Originally Posted by jmannz33 Go to original post
If they actually listen to what I just said above and improve upon it, I'll buy and support them. If the game releases looking exactly the same (which is exactly what I'm expecting this late in development), I'll pretend it never existed.
You do realize that the in-game footage video that you linked is probably an Alpha build of the game; so to give you an idea ( because you seem clueless in this matter )Originally Posted by Kobi_Blade Go to original post
There's usally 3 ''stages of builds'' Alpha, Beta, and the final game. If the video was indeed an Alpha build, which i'm like 99% certain it was, then it is normal that the game isn't as pretty as you would expect, because pretty graphics come with optimization and the optimization happen after the current build as hit Beta, and that should be around now to early november I'd imagine.
So yeah, stop complaining for no reason; it's like hating on a chef because his steak is still raw but he is still cooking it; give him time XD just like you should give them time to finish their game. Or don't and don't buy it, that way it's 1 less little baby on the game :P ( altho I'm a student in game design, I may be completly wrong, so take what I just said w/ a grain of salt) and have a good day
Calling me clueless baby and trying to act mature at the same time won't work. Read this before storming into another thread with petty insults, http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...47-Forum-RulesOriginally Posted by FallenHerosQc Go to original post
It's called feedback.
Kobi_Blade can you please calm down !
IMO saying that the game is horribly looking is'nt a real constructive feedback and the cooker image that FallenHerosQc gave was a great example
Again (and it's IMO) graphics are not the biggest concern of people here, people are more focused on gameplay.
And sorry for you but I don't really understand why you linked the forum rules ...
The only think I advise I can give you is that it's not worth talking about graphics since the game is in devlopment anfd it would suprise me to see graphics downgraded. The new Ubi policy on the subject since 2015 is "we only show what we think we would be able to see in the final game".
Posting a thread like this don't make devs work faster or harder because they surely now optimizing the game as we are only few months of the realease
Just look at the result when the game realeases.
(HeyFallenHerosQc ! Happy to see an other student in Game Design here)
sorry if you though I was hostile toward you, I really wasn't. altho I could off chosen my words differently, so I'm sorry if I offended youOriginally Posted by Kobi_Blade Go to original postbut still I stand before my post; you have no clues how the developpement of a game work, otherwise you'd know all that, no offense

(SuperBiscotCOT, it is indeed!(surtout en francais :P))
I'm as calm as it can get, I haven't offended anyone.Originally Posted by SuperBiscotCOT Go to original post
I said way more than the game looking bad, and the forum rules are linked due to the fact he was breaking two and another user (that meanwhile got his post removed).
New Ubisoft policy? We get the same new Ubisoft policy every year and to date nothing has changed, clearly you haven't been scammed by them as many times as some of us have (specially PC gamers).
2013: http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Ubi...ers-52921.html
2014: http://www.dsogaming.com/news/ubisof...ze-its-titles/
2015: http://www.dsogaming.com/news/ubisof...g-their-needs/
I have dozens of games from them, and all the games that had problems on PC on day one, still have those same problems to date (from performance to bugs), meaning Ubisoft never fixed them:
- Splinter Cell: Conviction
- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
- Assassin's Creed III
- Far Cry 3
- Watch_Dogs
- Assassin's Creed: Unity
Fell free to browse the forums of those games, and see the damage for yourself. If I was here to complain instead of providing feedback I wouldn't waste my time with this thread.
