Which bike first: Donkey, Stallion or Agent?

By the end of this bunker season I'll have collected all the blueprints for all three Extreme bikes: the Donkey, Stallion and the Agent. But which should I build first? I have zero Donuts, and until I build at least one of them I can't start collecting any, but I don't want to make the wrong choice. I'm guessing I'll have around 1 million credits when I'm ready to choose.

From my research, a stock 1-1-1-1 Donkey is painful for slot machine missions, so I'm not sure that would be a good choice. The Agent uses the least number of Donuts to get to a decent level, but is more expensive in terms of parts and cash. So at the moment I'm leaning towards getting the Stallion first, then focusing on upgrading it on its own to 10-10-10-9 and collecting enough Donuts to be able to upgrade the other two bikes.

What do you think? Which bike should I build first and why?

I guess it depends on your personal preferences and style of play. Imho the Agent bike is very stiff and limited and you wonīt be able to use it on alot of tracks. I got mine during the event but i havenīt touched it. The Stallion doesnīt follow the same laws of physics as the other bikes (due to the jump feature) but if you donīt mind the physics, go for it. Most likely youīll have to find new routes and timesavers because the jump feature really changes things up. I have all the blueprints but havenīt built the Stallion.

The Donkey is by far my favorite. Thatīs all iīve been playing lately, itīs a little beast on steroids! Itīll do well on pretty much any track and for the most part you use the same lines/timesavers as with the normal bikes so you donīt have to relearn any tracks. Itīs a very "touchy" bike though, the polar opposite of "stiff". I love it. Iīll take the donkey over the agent/stallion any day of the week and twice on sunday.

How did you find the Donkey while it was stock though? It's going to take me a long time to get the 108 Donuts I need to fully upgrade it, so I'm worried I'm going to find many of the missions that use the bike very tough.

So the Stallion and Agent do not show up in the slot machine or bunker? Interesting. That is actually a big argument in their favour, as I wouldn't be handicapped in such races with a stock bike, like I would be with the Donkey.

250 Donuts would almost be enough to upgrade all three bikes!

I dunno about stock 1/1/1/1 but by 5/5/5/5 the donkey is already very fast and is enough to get you top 200-300 on some tracks. Also imho, mastering the donkey improves your skill on normal bikes, not sure i can say the same about the Stallion or Agent bikes, the Stallion because itīs so different, and the Agent because itīs so limited. In the end what matters though is that you play with the bike you enjoy the most, and for me thatīs by far the Donkey.

Edit: btw right after i built the donkey they released the KTM and since i had no coins for it i had to postpone the donkey. It took months. After i maxed out the KTM i didnīt wanna be caught again without coins so i saved up 4million before i went back to the donkey. I had enough donuts, but the saving up coins took a long time. Patience is required.

The donkey is new to me and the only donuts I've gotten for it came via the slot machine. It's currently at 2/5/3/2 for upgrades.

I'm certainly no pro, on the current midnight challenge (phantom/lollygagging) I can't break the top 10%, currently sitting at 12%. That said, the donkey slot machine missions aren't that much of a problem. When they are, it isn't because the bike isn't fast enough, it's because the bike can be tricky to handle and a bit tippy. Upgrades won't make that go away, you just need to get used to the bike.

Donkey all the way. Even the 1/1/1/1 is surprisingly responsive and it only gets better; it wont be the bikes issue, it will be your learning to handle its different style that will take getting used to. Those wheels will accelerate right out from under you until you get the hang of it... and there is no suspension when you land; it bounces until you get the hang of it.

Since they pushed back some on handing out donuts, I suspect the fastest way to earn donuts is to buy them with 20 gems; which sounds like a lot but I got 30-50 gems a day easy on Tapjoy back when I wanted gems....and I could get a LOT more/day than that if I really focused on it.

The slot machine quests arent hard; all they did is ask for a higher amount of flips than the usual challenge. Since the donkey can flip almost as fast as you can think about it, they arent hard.

Admittedly, I am pretty good at donkey... but once you get the hang of it I bet you'll find that the donkey showdowns will be to your advantage most of the time (until you get to high ranks), since most folks really dont seem to try and learn it. An effort to learn the bikes playstyle will go along way here; as much as what the upgrades give you, frankly.

I would also like to add something here: You could even get the Donkey in the Bunker, but you could be a little dis-advantaged against other players, since you just built it, and some challenges in the Slot Machine can be tricky with the Donkey, so if you want you could go with the Donkey but you would need to upgrade it fast, and get used to that bike as well, or you could be losing matches which have the Donkey in them.

Surprisingly, I would say Donkey or Agent or both, you don't have to worry about the Agent appearing in the Bunker or on Slot Machine challenges, and you can upgrade it at your own pace, without the worry or hassle of challenges, but you would still need to upgrade it to get the top times, as you would. But the Donkey is a cool bike, and I would say go for that, but I would save up some Donkey Donuts and coins to get either bike upgraded to a suitable level. Also what no-one else has mentioned is the upgrade times for either bike, I think if I can remember, you don't have to worry about waiting for upgrades, it takes 5 seconds, don't know why though. The Donkey is a tricky bike to handle once you get used to it, the hardest of the bikes to handle in terms of difficulty but you should be comfortable enough with it if you give it plenty of time.

I wouldn't actually worry about the Stallion though. Although if you can, build it anyway since you can build either bike as you said but it won't have an effect on anything, but you can upgrade it later. Not to mention that the Donkey can be quite expensive to build as well when you've almost maxed it out. But don't forget you can activate all 3 bikes, but if you should go with the Donkey, only the Donkey would have an effect on the game, like Bunker and Slot Machine, but the other two won't, but you would still be able to obtain Donkey Donuts, even without the Donkey being built. So in conclusion, go for the Donkey and concentrate on building that and make sure you save a few DDs and coins first and then upgrade it to a better level, but I would build the other 2 bikes, but leave them as it is, on 0/0/0/0, but you can still ride it, so you can still get a feel for the bike, see how it plays out and see how it feels riding those two other bikes, although since it's at 0/0/0/0, it won't be much use, but then you might be able to decide which you want to upgrade next. Or build the Agent and the Stallion, upgrade either of those and leave the Donkey. Up to you.

Also a Donkey Donut is worth 20 gems apiece which isn't bad going, but there are several ways to get Donkey Donuts, sometimes it appears on the Loot Wheel, on the Slot Machine (2 DDs appears as a Blue prize, I think it's only available as the top blue prize, might be the 3rd blue prize as well, but the DDs will appear as a blue prize often), or even in the shop for 2000 chips (or 1800 chips with The Cornelius Costume) for one DD isn't bad going, however if you're concentrating on getting Bunker tracks, save the chips up for those instead unless you're up to date on the Bunker Tracks. Unfortunately, you would have heard that you also could have got Donkey Donuts with the Prospector and Zudina as well, but they've long gone, it was our most resourceful way of getting those DDs. Also DON'T buy Donkey Donuts, since they are worth 100,000 coins apiece, more expensive than a Tier 5 part, so that's not worth doing. It does take a while to collect them so as ChemicalD said, patience is required. The Donkey does require just Donkey Donuts, but the amount to max it out is 108 DDs, the same with the Stallion, but the Agent is much less, I think it's 40, but I'm not sure on that. Overall, you will need 256 Donkey Donuts to max out the 3 bikes or thereabouts. A frightening amount of DDs to say the least!

    Hope that helps. Cheers.

haha yea you and HeaverBeaver are "pretty good".

I just want to add something about the LBs, itīs relevant for me because i like to climb the LB, maybe itīs not your thing and so this wonīt matter much to you and thatīs perfectly fine but iīll throw this in anyways. In order to climb the crazy bike LB youīll need 2 maxed out bikes. The Donkey LB needs just the Donkey.

Obviously donkey.... That bike is in trials game since trials hd and also the only bike that help you improve your skills on tf. Once you get used to it you will find regular bikes easy... Plus, she have her own leaderboard and is in bunker.
It's not necessary to talk about agent bike as it feels like riding a brick, and stallion which feels like riding a.......hum well i cant compare, that's not even a bike.

As I hated Stalion very much at the beginning, now I love it, it is a time killer on a lot of tracks and it helped me to break into top 30-40 on Crazy LB...

For the beginners I might say the Agent would be the easier transition from normal bikes and you can make good times with Agent as well even without full upgrade and Agent is not in the bunker...
