I plan to approach every mission stealthy. Not to say that I will go undetected the entire time, but I think it would be HUGE if we were able to drag enemies out of sight AFTER they've been killed to avoid being spotted by other patrols. Or even down comrades to pull them to cover.
Has this been brought up before? Is there any chance of this being implemented?
Yes, absolutely I've advocated for this for a while now because I feel that a game that puts a priority on stealthiness needs an option to pick up/hide bodies. We know for a fact that you can sneak up behind someone and drag them around after you've captured them, but we don't know if you can move bodies after they've been rendered unconscious or outright killed. As for reviving teammates I would suspect you'll get the DBNO style of reviving like we've seen in Future Soldier, Siege, and The Division.
It would make a lot of sense to me to have the ability to do so. Perhaps it would work something like carrying cargo in the Division, where you're slower and only able to use a side arm?
I can't think of any reason why this wouldn't be beneficial to the game. It would certainly allow for more tactical choices to this game that is all about "the players choice".
I don't think anybody would disagree with that...dragging bodies would certainly be extremely useful, however I doubt we will see it in-game because I believe it is too late for them to add it in. Who knows...they might just add it but I wouldn't bet on it.Originally Posted by Mattactic Go to original post

We haven't seen whether leaving drop enemy bodies makes a difference or not so I doubt we will see it. Or they will make it like in FC where even you kill a baddie and you were behind a wall or a house, one of the guys on the other side of the house or wall, all of sudden, miraculous knew that someone was dead.
Some people say that they are still working on it but even if the sale of the game will be purely digital and not knowing anything about launching a game, my logic tells me that at this time, it is crunch time for the Devs and not hearing for feedback or what else needs to be implemented.
Again, I hope they prove me wrong but so far nothing I have seen says otherwise. Sure, lots of talks of "We will be able to do this!" but when ask for explicit answers, well... there are none.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say.. perhaps I don't get out much? I'm just thinking it would be a good thing to add.
I mean, I get that the emphasis is to drag enemies out of sight THEN take 'em out, but if the dead guy is subject to being spotted by a patrol, then so is the guy(me) going out in the open to pull him back into the shadows.. basically, as long as a downed body is recognizable by the enemy AI, I think he should also be recognizable to the player for interaction.
Maybe this could be implemented in an update later on? Again, I know ZERO about development nor how these things work. Somebody shut me up.
