Last played in May-June. Game was almost unplayable and I sadly had to uninstall. Has anything been done for the following:-
1) Devs solidified the SMG run and gun play style when they implemented "Toughness". Not thinking through how that would affect the game. Making people tankier means you're decreasing the range of engagement, SMG's shine in close range, so SMG's remained king and the rest of the weapons were gimped as a result.
2) Hackers were so rampant, 1 in every 4 people you encountered in the DZ would grief you. When they implemented "Cut the rope" I quit without even logging in to test it because I knew it was a hackers dream "feature". How did they expect to an online FPS to survive without an anti-cheat. So is there an anti-cheat? One that works?
3) Can I do multiple things to get end game gear, not only the one latest incursion? My suggestion many months ago was that they include a "Nightmare mode" to all prior content that will scale up with each patch to become more difficult, and give you latest incursion level gear. Did they every bring back 4 HE drops from Challenging?
4) The nerf to crafting, aswell as the RNG system (the worst RNG system in any game ever created, ever. EVER.) made it really difficult to specialize your gear for your build, and with only one truly viable build back then, this meant 99% of the gear you found would not work for you. You need a carrot on a stick, not a carrot on the moon to want to keep playing. If they figured this out in March the game would probably still have 30-40k players. Nobody likes logging in everyday for a whole week straight, only to see 0% improvement to their character because of bad drops.
If anything has been done for the above please let me know! If its not worth trying to get back into it, let me know why below aswell!

I played the PTS from week 1 to week 4 and for me, its more playable and content can be soloable in some instance. You might want to give it a try bruh
Loot quantity is not that too much as you still get some stuff that you dont need, but the probability of getting the right gear and weapon is much better than the 1.3. If you have season pass, go grind UG as they drop a ton of loots, and with a proper team mates, you can finish the whole 3-4 phase within 1 hour i guess.
Thanks for this, I'll wait for a few more peoples responses to see what they say about other changes.Originally Posted by PH.Gammatron016 Go to original post

Just on Steam CURRENTLY The division achieve record for players at least two months. Yes current players are higher than peek for that period... And we are talking just about Steam

You don't have to read through 6 months of patch notes just read one set. Everything in the patch notes for 1.4 answers your questions. In other words yes you will like it.Originally Posted by Riyact Go to original post
Will Uplay release this kind of report just like in Steam? so we can also see the number of TP players in Uplay.Originally Posted by komplikCZ Go to original post
As in everything in life, the best judge is yourself. Don't wait for anyone else's opinions because it may be different than what you may experience. Take the plunge and judge for yourself. As for me, as a casual/middle of the road player, loot drops and time-to-kill NPCs are absolutely WAY better than 1.3. If you are on World Tier 4, you can get max gear score items from any activity, not just incursions. To quote Bob Barker:

Seriously, read the patch notes. They have made some many changes/improvements, you will need to read everything to fully grasp what is going on.
However, in short, it is far more enjoyable on every front. I'm sure some hacking in the DZ still exists, but the DZ is in no way necessary. Loot rains from the heavens, balance is better, NPCs are less infuriating, but there is still difficulty to be found. Give it a whirl.
