Call me naive, but I do belive Ubi/Massive learnt from their mistakes. Statistics speaks volumes, and the dive playerbase took from launch to September was too massive to ignore. If playerbase picks up again, they must see that they did something right. Impossible to please everyone, and I already seen 3-4 people in general chat saying "Omg, I run through heroic incursions with handgun". I personally call ********. I had 560 hours played when I left shortly after UF (mainly because I didn't see a way to further progress in game after multiple incursion heroic clears. Coming back now, I have challenges to do, I have gearsets and setups to experiment with. No game will have infinite challenges. At the end of expansions, (by no means comparing the 2), but even wow mythicraid guilds are clearing full raids in a night, while carrying 3 paid boosts. It is how it is. It doesn't mean a developer should cave in to the voices of the minority (many of them screaming "Too easy" to underline how pro they are.
We all want to believe that (returning players), I'm the type of person that believes it when he sees it. 1.4 was a huge improvement, but if 1.5 rollbacks on most of the changes it was all for nothing.
Saying this, cause I already saw users complaining about 1.4, even before it was out.

I think the devs found a sweet spot for difficulty. It can be tough, but not punishing, and the loot is good. For all the chaos that occurred on the forums, I think week 4 was the best iteration of difficulty in the PTS.
