Get level 33 gear mods with armor and replace your existing level 32 gear mods(blueprints or loot drops). Be sure also to recalibrate your chest piece, holster and bagpack to armor if you want to reach the 70% cap.Originally Posted by M3NAC3 360 Go to original post
Recalbirated gear for armour and only 45.5% and that is with several level 32 mods with armour as well. Looking at the 33 mods I have, there is no way mods are making up the difference.Originally Posted by PH.Gammatron016 Go to original post
Chest, kneepads, holster and backpack. Then I believe 5 or 6 mods will bring you close but you are going to need luck on rolls. I don't remember if the mask rolls armor or not but if it does you will need it there as well.Originally Posted by M3NAC3 360 Go to original post
They do. The last time i played the PTS, i have 4 level 33 (sorry i forgot the armor bonus), recalib the chestpiece, bagpack and holster (which has pretty high base armor) and i reached almost 60% armor. But i'll check later the checkpoints or vendors if they sell level 33 gear mods.Originally Posted by M3NAC3 360 Go to original post
Like I said. I have calibrated all gear that allows for armour to armour, and I have 4 level 32 mods with armour and only have 45.5% armour.Originally Posted by gt2k Go to original post
Don;t get me wrong, I didn;t expect to hit 70, but I did expect to be in at least the low 60s.
You have low rolls for armor. Have you started replacing pieces with new ones?Originally Posted by M3NAC3 360 Go to original post
Then the only thing remains is to get level 33 mods as they can give you high armor bonus.Originally Posted by M3NAC3 360 Go to original post
The 2 level 33 mods I have give less armour than most of my level 32 mods.Originally Posted by PH.Gammatron016 Go to original post
To be honest though, me hitting the cap or not is kind of irrelevant. The real issue is that it seems you must have high armour or you just die very very quickly in group content. Which means high armour is once again mandatory.
Enemies were already tougher. They had to change the everything to bring it back in line. Toughness has more to do with stamina then armor now. Getting about 50% isn't hard to do and as long as you are around 60% you should be ok.Originally Posted by gX-kiD Go to original post
Also the grind will not take months like before and it will be at most a week for a good build depending on your time played.
