    About Sets, roles and RPG.

    This is the idea.

    - Redefine or spec the attributes from the Sets which activate the abilities of certain skill trees and perks only while you are wearing it.
For example, wearing 4 pieces of the Sentry’s Call Set activates all the Tech Skills, Talents and Perks tree but not the Medical abilities which is totally incompatible with the role of Sentry (DPS Set).
    - The ability slots should never be assigned for the Medical Skills, Talents or Perks while you are wearing a Sentry (or DPS) Set and vice versa.
    - Sets may be combined between them if they are of the same role like for example Striker with Sentry or Lone Star, etc.
    - Remove those bonuses, skills and major/minor attributes that do not correspond to the role of the Set and replace them through the appropriate role.
    - Tech and Security could be also hybrid builds and they may be combined.
Examples of hybrid ability slots builds: 2 ability slots of Tech + 1 of Security or vice versa and 2 + 2 slots of Talents while wearing 3 pieces of Striker's + 3 Tactician’s for example.
    - The Medic role should get a unique new defined spec Set.
2 slots of Medic + 1 Security can be combined but not vice versa because Medic should be always the main role.
-Never permit combine Medic with Tech.

Of course, this is a basic approach but I think you can get an idea about how to me this game could be played as a RPG in a better manner and with more sense.

Not a bad idea, but unfortunately, this game is slowly moving away from the RPG genre.

Unless they decide to rework a lot of what they just reworked, it's tough to imagine any type of role play support.

When it's all said and done, we'll be looking at a loot shooter with light RPG elements.

In my opinion unfortunately The Division is a loot based game and its gameplay it focuses now on the shooter where you can complete any content running the most random of stats.
The problem it’s not just all about that none of the gear sets mean anything now and where you can clear any content as easily with no build as you will with a min/maxed one, it’s the core mechanics that I will miss, where skills and tech roles were almost a must and were fun to play with it.
The next coming loot system is also amusing.
I never played any game before where every Set was viable in the same way, and I could get the best Sets for almost free.
I suppose that they’re changing the direction of the game for the biggest representation of their player base but for some people like me, who loved the RPG aspect of the game, it will be disappointed.
