Hey all,
First of i ain't played the PTR being a console player so i have some questions you maybe able to answer.
Here is a screenshot of my current Striker setup, i also have a Reclaimer setup but i won't be using that anymore.
Info the screen shot does not show (rough percentages of what i can remember)
NOTE: I PVE ONLY
- SMG: 20% CHC & 200% CHD
- AR: 20% CHC & 160% CHD + 70% Enemy Armor Damage
- Armor Migration: 75% @ Around 5600
- Damage to elites: 20%
My questions are:
- What tier and what diffulculty will i be comfortable with?
- Going by the screenshot what will i have to re-roll until i get new gear, i.e will i need more armor etc etc?
- Can anybody tell me going by my screenshot what my stats will equate too in 1.4 and what i should be aiming for stats wise?
Looking forward to some thoughts.
p.s I will be using Striker set until i get some good 4 x Predators & 2 x Sentry drop for me......should be able to get some gear straight away as i have 15mil on my other character and 5mil on this one and should have about 34 un-opened UG caches by the time 1.4 comes.
You'll be in WT4 and you want armor on your holster and/or kneepads. That is what I would do anyway. A lot of stats are going to change and armor on gear and mods will be key.
Between your UG caches and PC caches you can buy you'll will probably be geared up before you even fire a shot.
You will be just fine on WT4. As already mentioned be ready to roll armor on those pads and holster if you haven't already rerolled those pieces for something else. I would recommend dropping firearms to just what you need to unlock talents and investing the rest in stamina. For example drop firearms mod from pads and replace with stamina/armor if possible. Stacking armor will still be the best until (if) they change the way armor is figured into the game.
Also the great thing about the patch is build diversity. The last build I tried on the PTS might have been my favorite. That was 3 piece sentry/3 piece hunter's faith. It's good for all out damage so you might want to give that a shot.
So you'll be in Tier 1 since they are meaningless?Originally Posted by onenightnparis Go to original post
I tried, the game threw gear and guns at me so I advanced and playing vs levels 31 but with 182 GS was not different at allOriginally Posted by gt2k Go to original post
that's why 1.4 Tiers are meaningless, it's like leveling from 30 to 33.
play a little bit even the easier content, obtain better stuff and go to the next Tier.
but players like me and OP with a GS high enough for Tier 4 will only find disappointment
the game is a lot easier. with the introduction of 4 Tiers there was enough room to give to the whole player base their ideal grade of challenge
and the biggest problem is in the DZ where you can't select difficultyat all
full easy solo mode from 01 to 06..sorry I thought this was a team game
I would say you are loaded for Bear. I have more skill power and less health, through the roll of the dice. Only thing you will need will be power level 33 blueprints. This is where the delay in optimizing your build will come from. I see you are capped in Phoenix credits. I wish Massive would allow us to accumulate 8000 bird bucks. Make sure you distribute your blueprints among your alts. Not having enough crafting materials will delay your advancement.Originally Posted by JayKay040792 Go to original post
Thanks all for the tips/advice
I think i should be ok on a few things, might have gone over the top but i should have the following on 1.4 release:
1st Character = Reclaimer
- 15mil in credits
- 2000 PC
- 40+ lvl 32 weapon mods
- 20+ lvl 229 waepons
2nd Character = Striker
- 8mil in credits
- 0 PC
- 34 UG UN-opened caches
3rd Character = Storage
- 40+ lvl 32 Armor mods
4th Character = Storage
- 40+ lvl 32 Armor mods
You could say i farmed Heroic 4man DN and Heroic Lexington a bit too much
Judging by what you's have said Tier 4 will be fine for me, but at what difficulty i don't know yet.
