One way to truly and organically incentivize tactical game play is by making AI bullets take players down as quickly as players can take ai down.
that's fair, and means that while rushing in is possible in openworld game play, taking the more tactical approach has a far higher chance of success.
it should be quite a simple affair.
in the e3 demos it seemed players were bulletsponges, which is why run in like clueless ****tards worked and the general reaction was so disappointed with the game at the moment, but as if the ai become dangerous then that's when the game play also gets a load more interesting.
hopefully there's a hardcore mode for this. although it should honestly be the default for a true tom clancy game.
Yeah the devs have stated that they made the E3 demo easier (or that it was simply running on an easier difficulty mode, unclear as to which). They did this so everyone at E3, regardless of skill and group composition, could successfully complete the demo in the time-frame allotted.
I do hope that there's a much harder difficulty mode though.
