The guide has been updated to reflect the changes made to the Orochi since the closed-alpha test in September 2015.

    Orochi

The Orochi is by far my favorite hero. This guide is amazing. However, I know that the Orochi is harder to master compared to other classes. Would you recomend first time players to start off using another character? Or just jump into playing Orochi if that's the hero they want to master?

We do recommend starting out playing the Warden to get a good grasp of the game's fundamentals before jumping into really any of the other classes.
That being said, there is nothing really stopping you from jumping straight to the Orochi if you really wish to do so. You'll do fine!

Depending on how the Nobushi comes out this will probably be my Samurai of choice. I thought it was gonna be Kensei till I read through the guides, thanks so much.

I main the Oroshi and have done since the first alpha, but this is the first i've heard that it's possible to pick which side you attack with a storm rush. I was under the impression it is always a right attack. I'll have to practise this in a bit, but could you possibly explain how to have it attack from the left if you know how to do so?

Unless of course you mean after you have connected, in which case you are free to do anything.

Good guide too, aligns with my thoughts on the Oroshi too.

So embarrassed, it is so easy to do. I didn't realise that moving your mouse in the direction you want to attack with storm rush changed the attack direction. I must have consistently always pulled slightly to the right. Just tried it in practise and indeed if i pull to the left then i attack on the left. This opens up a whole new realm of possibilities for me. Thank you for mentioning this in the guide, i had no idea.
