    Known Issues - October 20

    WARNING
Warning 1: Please ensure that you have updated NVIDIA or AMD drivers and meet the recommended PC requirement. Without those, you could have infinite loading screen with an hourglass.

    • Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 or better.
    • CPU: Intel Core i5 4590 or greater.
    • RAM: 8GB or more.
    • Video port: HDMI 1.3.
    • USB port: 2 USB 3.0 ports.
    • Windows 7 SP1 or newer.

Warning 2: If Uplay is open, but you are not logged in, you may encounter an error. You shouldn’t need to launch Uplay in order to play (Oculus Home will handle that automatically).

UPLAY - The title cannot be uninstalled using Uplay
The player may not be able to uninstall using Uplay.
Workaround: The only way to uninstall the title is from the Oculus store.

UPLAY - The player is unable to finish an installation through Oculus Home.
If the player is unable to finish his installation via Oculus Home, it could be because an older version of Uplay is running in the background.
Workaround: close Uplay in order to allow Oculus Home to install the latest version.

UPLAY - (A) button doesn't work to quit the game when the player is disconnected from Uplay.
When the player is trying to start the game on the same Uplay and Oculus accounts, the game will display a message on Oculus that indicate he was disconnected from Uplay and is forced to close the game.
The player should be able to quit the screen by pressing ''A'' but the button is not working.
Workaround: Close the game by another means (alt-F4, from the Oculus menu, by right-clicking the task bar and selecting “close,” etc.)

HARDWARE - Upon replugging the HDMI cable, the player is stuck on a blackscreen.
When unplugging and replugging the Oculus' HDMI cable from the PC's GPU, the player gets stuck on a blackscreen. Background audio keeps playing however and tracking is not lost, also the FPS on screen drops to 40.
Note that the player can still see the Oculus menu in the headset. Only the title is stuck on a black screen.
Also, if the headset is in idle mode (not on player's head) the issue occurs all the same.
    Workaround: Restart the app.

HARDWARE - Controller unresponsive in game after being idle
If the player leaves the title running idle for more than 10 minutes with the "please connect a controller" message, after reconnecting the controller, he might notice that he cannot control the game but they can control the Oculus Universal Menu.
    Workaround: Restart the app.

HARDWARE - The message "Please connect a controller" displayed on screen, while the Xbox One controller was plugged and turned on, and working in windows.
Workaround: If you encounter this error, try using a wired USB controller or plug in the Xbox One controller with a USB cable.

INSTALL PROCESS - Not all files are removed on uninstall.
The file output_log.txt is left after uninstalling the title.
Workaround: the player can delete the file manually.

INSTALL PROCESS - Application failed to close when terminated from Oculus Home
Player may notice that, upon accessing Oculus Home while the title is running and attempting to terminate it, the application fails to be closed with the following error message: “the app you're running wasn't able to fully shut down”.
Workaround: If this leads to performance issues in VR, the player may want to manually quit the app or close any windows associated with it on his desktop.

GAMEPLAY - During an activity, NPCs multiply in specific condition.
When a player is killed by an NPC and immediately crashes (like simultaneously is killed while crashing), he will have more NPCs than specified on score icons.
    Workaround: restart the activity.

GAMEPLAY - Crosshair disappears if the player restarts activity before crashing.
While the player is progressing through an activity, he may notice that if he crashes into a wall or an object (right before the fade to black screen that shows the message “you crashed”), he pauses the game and restart the activity and the crosshair disappears from the HUD.
    Workaround: restart the activity.
