it's showing the 15th for all 3...did they change the date back to 15th for pc?

the site shows the Standard, Deluxe, and Gold as the 15th for pc...collector standard, collector deluxe, collector gold as the 29th

2 weeks is not such a big delay.

In any case, I understand that bug-fixing has a 1:4 ratio in terms of how long it takes pre and post-launch.

2 weeks of polish pre-launch can save 8 weeks of patching post-launch.

Ubisoft is saving PC players 2 months of 'bug-whining'

Why on earth do you think the change would happen in an instant?
PC is delayed for 2 weeks, so until 29th.

While the change on the website should've been done when the delay was announced, everyone who is getting the game on PC should know of the delay (or you're a casual, in which case you wouldn't know the release date to begin with) and thus if the page is not changed to reflex that, it isn't a huge deal.

Also, I ask again, why on earth would you buy anything on release date or, worse, pre-release. You are the reason games launch buggy, if you keep giving companies money without making sure they actually deserve it, you're part of the problem.

My problem is not that they delayed it 2 weeks. I can wait 2 weeks for the game to be polished, and release not like how Watch_Dogs did.

My problem is how Ubisoft have treated the PC community with this game series. PC is a big part of the gaming community, and it seems that they could care less since they are partnered with Sony. All I see on these new trailers is the PS4 logo, and it only pisses me off more to see a platform favored. HEY UBISOFT, XBOX AND PC EXIST, CAN YOU ACKNOWLEDGE US?!?!!? They see that they have acknowledge PC for once by delayed the game to improve it, but it doesn't make up for what they did in Watch_Dogs. Having DLC release 30 days later than on Playstation, delaying the game probably because that worked on the PS4 Pro version instead of putting their time and development into the PC version, not having a physical copy version for PC, and lastly also having exclusive content on PS4 again! If I get a piece of **** game on November 29, I'll return it in a hard beat. I am sick and tired of this attitude developers have.

This is something that happens with a lot of products. If I buy a book, a newspaper, go to the movies, or go to a restaurant, in all these cases I pay the price without knowing if the product is to my satisfaction. In nearly every situation the seller wants to give you a taste of what you can expect. This is no different in Watch Dogs 2. Actually with Watcth Dogs 2 they followed a much more transparent method then the first Watch Dogs. With the first Watch Dogs we only saw some highly scripted flashy trailers. This time however youtube is full with gameplay video’s. I think I saw already at least 8 hours of gameplay and therefore I think I have a good idea what the game will be like.

I don’t have much problems with the product. I have more problems with the way Ubisoft is treating his customers. Nobody likes to be treated as second rank customer and especially not if you are paying full price.

There are many reasons I want to play the game at release day and the most important is that a game is a social product. It is an interactive story and if your friends also play the game then you talk about it. You discus how you solved certain puzzles etc. Just like you discus the news with people around you. There is no fun if your newspaper is delayed 2 weeks and neither is it fun that when you can only start a game when your friends already finished it.

There are however also other reasons why you would like to start at the release date. One obvious reason is that you get a preorder bonus mission. Why would you not want to have that? Another reason is that you progress while you play the game. Since there is also multiplayer you don’t want to start weeks later than other people because then you will not be as advanced as your opponents.

Let me ask you why you think you will have a better idea what the game is like when you buy the game weeks after the release date? What do you expect to know by then that you can’t see in the gameplay video’s? If it is really a bad game then I would expect that this would be public knowledge when so many game reviewers played the game.

Ah, but all these things have actual reviews, from reputable people. Just because Ubisoft has given certain people certain amount of gameplay to show isn't reflective of the whole game. I think WD2 will be fun, no doubt (I liked WD too, aside from Aidan being a block of wood, but don't tell anyone, ok *shhhh*) and I will most likely buy it, however I tend to wait until things are on sale as I don't see games being worth what is being asked for these days.

How are they treating their customers as second rank? They told you of the delay and the reasons for it (if you believe those reasons or not, is up to you and your Ubi-hate to decide... and I don't mean you as an individual, I mean the general you, most of whom hate Ubi and still keep buying their product).

Well, there you go, I don't have any friends.

Bonus mission is pointless, it's one mission, the reward for which won't be applicable by the time you do it and I bet it doesn't even have an achievement attached to it.
Also, everyone of the games I've bought later has come with all the extra crap and I've paid way less than retail for the whole package.

And don't get me started on multiplayer, there isn't a single 3rd person game that should have it, not WD, not AC, not GTA, not RDR... all these games would have been better off without it. MP is the second reason games release buggy, cos idiots keep wanting it in every game and think somehow less of them, if they don't have it, f*ck those people.

Oh I don't buy games weeks after release, I buy them a year later, sometimes years later (Like just got AC: Rogue and AC 3 this week and both of those were on sale, so even cheaper than normally). You see, there are literally hundreds of thousands of games out there, I can spend a year waiting for a price drop by playing them. And hell, plenty of them are F2P to boot.

And again, the gameplay out now is limited in scope, some of the YouTubers even said that they weren't allowed to show the in-game map and so on. So while it looks good, I'm still gonna wait for a review, preferably from TB, before I consider buying. That being said, I may buy WD2 at near full price (Gonna use U-points). And GR: Wildlands I will buy very soon after launch since I have a group for it.
