I have a problem with this new update. It sucks. It's like there was no thought put in to this one. "Hey Jim, y'know what would be sweet? [You hear a water bong] Let's make the new update just like racing a [exhale] ghost in the game and charge them gems for restarts."
This update is BS. I'm barely playing it. I got to rank 35ish and then I'm bumped somewhere closer to 100. I'm in the top 1%. Why go any further? Work on getting a better time at your own leisure just like we do with the rest of the tracks and you won't use gems for restarts (once the track is in the map). This update S.U.C.K.S.
A HUGE problem also is that when you finish the race and lose, all your remaining tries get taken away from you. This is terrible. As you get better on your track time, you start racing against better opponents, so a lot of the matches become pretty close, meaning it could be a minimal difference of 0.01 seconds. So, if you end un racing till the finish line for that minimal difference, and you don't succeed, you are screwed, all your extra tries you previously had are lost in the nebula and have to spend the gems or wait for the timer.
Didn't nobody experience or thought about this when testing, at all?
How about adding a RETRY button at the end of the race screen?
I very much agree. It seems to be the one of the underlying aims of this event is to be a massive gem sink, possibly a way to get those with a pile of gems backed up to spend an awful lot of them. Because as you say, the only way to get more retries without a retry button at the end of the race (especially while you're focused and 'in the zone') is to spend three gems. And then three more. And then etc. etc. Before you know it, a mountain of gems can become a molehill.Originally Posted by Juantastik Go to original post
