    Solving the "easy loot" problem.

    It is very simple.

1: Make loot more rare especially gear sets.
2: Alow players to re-roll ALL gear/weapons stats as many times as they wish with growing cost to an arbitrary cap.
    3: Problem solved.
4: Players are more appreciative of the gear that drops.
5: Players don't feel like they are being screwed by rng waiting for a God roll.
6: They can adjust gear and weapons to easily, but expensively, fit the meta. Instead of farming another 50 of each gear piece.

This is a horrible idea, your first point fine. The second completely destroys even trying to get gear as once you have the weapons and set pieces your after you will instead just sell every single piece of gear after that you come across and just reroll everything till its min-maxed how you want, allowing everyone to easily get their perfect build even faster than relying on the current meta of loot falling from the sky.

Might as well just revert DZ and everything else so that max GS loot rarely drops because all gear after you get the 10 or so drops you want will then become irrelevant and destroy any reason to play anything other than the easiest fastest content because you will just be selling everything that is dropped by NPC's.

People want to chase the carrot and your idea removes the stick.

i'm ok with scaling loot to group size, having min-max adjustable by the player would take out all the fun from trying to find a good gear set or weapon..... (turning trash into treasure is good in real life, but not in this game)

they only need to make 229 loot global so any solo player out there doing whatever activity, can get access to it....

Right now its farming for the sake of farming. Its boring and annoying, especially for those who don't have time to do the farming. Right now everyone sells everything anyway because its all ****. This way its basically the same system we have now except instead of the lucky ones having god rolled everything, everyone will have it. Whats the point of chasing after rotting carrots?

The point my friend is the point of any loot driven game, if you give players an avenue to min max with minimum effort then what is the point to continue playing? This game isn't like Diablo, there are no Greater Rifts and there are no leader boards so once you get your perfect build there is absolutely nothing to do aside from seal club in the DZ and guess what? That would be gone too as anyone and everyone could easily get the best gear in the game by gating everything by rerolling all the best/maxed rolled attributes on there items.

All there is to do in this game is grief in the DZ and get gear, you remove the get gear part of that equation and I'm sure you pretty much kill off the rest of the community.

Ok, personally ive not dropped an upgrade in about 2 months, im pretty happy with my build, but I still play a few hours a day. Thinking about it this way id say im 90% min maxed, so I dont actually expect an upgrade. So why do I keep playing?

The answer to this is that I simply dont know.

I switch it on, run around kill stuff for a bit, go to a vendor, sell everything, then switch it off again.

Sitting on 20 million credits and max phoenix credits, but for what purpose?

I think I may need to go and see a specialist....

I did leave out a very important piece of the puzzle with this game and that is that you can have fun with it. I love Diablo 3 and have 6 min maxed characters and I play it on console, its just a enjoyable game to play. I could go weeks getting thousands of legendary and set items and never get an upgrade and I wouldn't care because its enjoyable to play.

If your having fun it doesn't have to be anything more than that man, point I'm trying to make is that its a looter shooter and if you make loot irrelevant then what is really the point of playing as I said its not like Diablo there is no incentive to keep going after you've completed all the missions and side missions. That is however if your not really enjoying yourself why else would you play?

I think its hanging around for the content that I paid for in the season pass. Its like, ill keep my eye in, keep saving up in game currency, because I might need it one day....

Im a consumer, I paid for something, id like to use it before it gets put away in the kitchen cupboard with the fondue set and the soda stream.

The thought of 1.4 as they initially presented it, made me happy. More loot, more simplistic gameplay, not getting pigeon holed into smart cover and pulse. Now however, its like deflation after elation.

We are heading closer and closer to 1.3 again in terms of everything. They nerfed the loot rain, re buffed npcs because an aussie and a dutch chap didnt like it.

    Feels kinda bad man.

    To shoot.

Gearing for the sake of gear is pointless and boring, and results in the previous game we got.

You should gear so you can tackle content.
