Your window is closing act now.

All of my original group of friends have left this game. I have made many more and most of them gone as well. It's hard to bring gamers back who have moved on.

This patch needs to be released this week and here is why. Battlefield 1 drops the 21st, 18th for EA/deluxe edition. EVERY person I have spoken with is going to check out that game. You will have permantly lost many more players if you wait. You have a small time between now and the 18/21 to get your material out before it's too late. There has been a shooter lull for the last couple months with only gears of war coming out to fill it and that's not for everyone. Had this patch come out already there could be hope that some players would stick with this game.

There is always the possibility that battlefield flops and if it does players may come check out 1.4 later. Wouldn't it be better to drop 1.4 let everyone experience it prior to battlefield and leave a lasting memory. then some players may come back to the division or decide not to leave it.

People already planned to leave for those titles anyway, had 1.4 dropped last week or 3 weeks ago, I don't think it would have changed how many would leave that much. New games are new...some people gravitate to that like raccoons and silver coins...oooh shiny!

They will run off play those games for a few week months, get bored of those too and then go back other games they liked eventually.. its the gamers circle of life.

Even if the update was out right people would still leave to go play battlefield. Its just an extremely popular game and nothing is going to stop that.

People who play BF1, play Every battlefield game that ever came out before that. People who play the latest and next CoD are playing every single CoD that came out before that...to break it down to you. They're all the same game. If anything i'm glad people who are leaving The Division to play BF1 are and hopefully will never come back, I don't want those kind of people playing my sweet sweet Division and ruining it with another complaint and suggestion of feedback. 1.4 now feels more like a game for casual players, its not so challenging, i'm not complaining i'm just making a point.

Think about it, do you really want those people playing really interesting unique games? I bet half the people that play CoD never even touched Unreal Tournament (the king of MP FPS).

I agree with what everyone has already said. I'm one of those that is getting COD but not for the IW but more for MW. Just because I play those doesn't mean I'm not going to try 1.4 when it comes out. There are a number of people that is going to try 1.4 that have quit for months. I can play both games as long as it is fun. What I won't do is grind away when there are other games to play. I can't grind for good gear anymore. I have other things to do now and I'm just burnt out by it.

The livestream now is interesting, matt keeps avoiding the question of if 1.4 might drop this week. Not once has he said no. Keeps saying chat is making things 'difficult' for him....

Makes no difference if the patch was released this week.. I'd still be buying/playing BF1 next week.

I disagree what OP says 100%.

Do not release the patch until its ready. I don't care if its next month, just don't release the patch until it is 100% DONE.

Unless they gave that patch a two weeks ago Sony and Microsoft haven't certified it. I believe it takes two weeks for that.

Battlefield 1......meet the new game, same as the old game.
