My issue pre-dates the launch of Rocksmith remastered but all of the song packs and songs released for purchase in the past 12 months or so don't show up in the in game shop (I can buy them through Steam)

I run RS2014 on a PC - can anyone suggest a fix?

yep, keep using the steam shop.

Not being a wise ***, after two full versions and a major overhaul,they still can't get the shop working on any platform.

I don't understand what is so difficult about showing all the songs in a shop, heck,even Sony can do THAT lol

Quick tip for you:

If you have spotify account (it is free anyway) just look up for 'Rocksmith 2014 + DLC + RS1' playlist, it contains (probably) all the songs from the game and it is up to date, It is much easier to search for songs than in the Steam store.
