    How awesome would it be if GRWL had a command system similar to OGR... I bet that amount of tacticalfulness is no longer possible since Ubi has moved to the console age

    It would be possible if they were to consider spending the resources to appease both the casuals and original GR players... I think that consoles have very little to do with it since we know that they are plenty of console players that would enjoy it as well but they are also in the minority.

    We have yet to see a demo played in Hard or Hardcore mode so perhaps there is hope yet?

    I'm not going to be that engaged in a solo game if I don't need the AI.

    If I can take every mission from one approach with no support then the game is too easy. I just really hope I get enough control, coupled with enough AI autonomy (soul swapping too would be the ultimate) to give me that feeling I had in the original. I cared enough about the AI because I was all of them.

    I've completed missions in OGR with a single soldier (Susan Grey...MP5SD FTW) - it was hard as balls but I was able to do it. Mostly though it's to run a tighter ship so to speak when playing co-op. If I'm just playing with my friend, I like the idea of just rolling out as a two person sniper team or something along those lines as an option. I also find the idea of kitting my character out in Third/Fourth Echelon styled gear and trying solo Splinter Cell styled missions to be entertaining as well.

    This all depends though on how deep the command system is though if I'm honest. Having the option is the most important thing though in case you're looking to do something more challenging than usual.

    There was also a mission to complete on your own with just a sniper to get some reward or other i can't recall what; it was really hard as at one point you had to get through a passage where the AI rushed you. I used Astra Galinsky if I remember, but it took me ages.

    But they had the same command system on console so it's not really a console issue.

    I can agree with the OP. Let it be the player's discretion if they want to play with AI teammates online with friends. If players are comfortable with the AI's performance, then they can decide to keep them on the team.

    Personally, I miss the days of giving AI teammates voice commands in other games. Button assignments interrupts the flow of the mission being played too much
