I thoroughly enjoyed my time with For Honor.
The menu music, while appropriate, was a bit too sleep-inducing, and i hope that the lullaby-chanting gets some orchestral additions or some variations, because being in the menus felt a bit boring because of that. (not that the music was bad, but it didn't at all get me excited for possible combat, or looking at my characters)
The menu (played on Xbox One) stuttered a but, which was annoying, and when looking at my character and gear, i couldn't make selections and switch gear until the gear had visibly loaded on the character, and that some simes made the customisation menu feel slow and unoptimized.
Getting different gear, and the fact I could take a helmet i REALLY liked, and keep the visual part of it and equip on a "better" helmet was absolutely fantastic. Both getting the stat focuses I want AND the look I want is so rewarding I could kiss you.
However. When an item levelled up, I could see a stat increase. And on new items, I could see their stats. BUT nowhere in the game could I see a clear representation between a "bad" or a "high" stat. When I had new loot, there was nothing that I could see that helped me make an informed deciscion as to whether I should put on the new helmet, make my old helmet better with the new one, or scrap one (or both) of them for money for a new armor set.
Should I horde loot until I get a good armor, and then level that up, or are all armors 'good?
In the game, there will hopefully be clear information on this, because finding out after 20 levels that you've basically "wasted" all your loot to that point, would feel pretty awful.
Lastly, I hope to see an improvement on the camera after wins/losses. To the champion goes the honor, and if someone beats me, I want to have a good look at their gear and insignia to regognize later, and vice versa.
Thanks for working on this fantastic game.
