Gearset Idea for PvE Players that want to DZ.

Ever since the PTS began I've been trying to think of a neat way to make the DZ a more positive experience for people that do not want to PvP. I think I might have thought of something.

    Gearset - Dark Harvester

2 Piece Set Bonus: +20% looted DZ funds (Same as Banshee)

3 Piece Set Bonus: +50% DZ Increased Kill XP.

4 Piece Set Bonus: When dying to a Rouge you will drop all loot and keys, but you will not lose DZ Rep or DZ funds. When dying to NPC's then you lose everything like normal in addition to a 15% penalty to DZ rep and funds.

Just an idea I had, let me know what you think! If anything, we can at least get Massive thinking about it and maybe they can implement a gearset like this for PvE players that want to farm the DZ.

    Hey,

    i'm not with your idea.
    This kind of players:

for people that do not want to PvP
wont go into the DZ (like as me).
We want to farm out gear in PvE Areas (LZ, Missions, UG or CacheBuying).

It's nice that you think about this point, but (imo) the only way to get PvE players into a DZ is to make a PvE DZ and this wont happen.

Dying to rogues makes you LOSE your loot and keys wow really enticing NOT

How about dying to rogues make you NOT lose ANYTHING now that'd be a gear set

    This could be the solution

People want seperate pvp and pve environments but this is not possible

A gear set that would make you not lose anything to rogues would be very enticing but I can also understand why they wouldn't implement it

    So how about
Dying to rogues make you not lose your loot keys and xp every 10 minutes ?

The biggest problem in this game is other players shooting you in the back and coming out of checkpoints to get ganked this would prevent that

that crazy, for dz player if pve player complain about the dz is only because they don't want be kill by a rogue ????? talk about short mind people and lack of clear understanding.

Is multple reason if a person don't like pvp. and understand the no matter what massive do for try to attract pve player in the Dz, if this person don't like pvp they will not come, period, is not about get kill by other people is a lot more reason than that.

    no

There are 2 typed of solutions:

    1st:
    PvE DZ (wont happen)

    2nd:
This kind of set, where u wont lose anything (wont happen)

Otherwise i don't think, that ANY PvE Player go to farm DZ

Separate PvE and PVP environments are possible. It would just go against the initial mission statement of the game...

Losing your gear in the DZ is half the point of it. Whether you find it enticing, or "fun" is irrelevant. It's part of the gear economy, it's part of the ecosystem, it's part of the risk appeal. If being forced to losing gear is something you're not ok with then the DZ shouldn't be a concern for you.

Not losing your stuff will not prevent you from being killed at chokepoints, or being ganked... what kind of logic is this..? The perpetrators hardly care if you lose anything. If you do, bonus points. But more often than not they will just shoot you even if you obviously have nothing to lose (no yellow bag).

THIS would prevent initial gank attempts

Don't force PVP, that's the solution, most of us play for coop PVE and loot with plenty of content. The DZ prevents these things from happening and embracing it as the best part of this game is where the problem lies.
