Just to be sure ... as far as I know Raider can't auto-heavy after a parry or a GB (unlike a lot of classes that have a auto top heavy) which means mixing up some light attacks is mostly the best (and only) solution.

Am I wrong in that assumption?

Raider seems to have no chance against assasins and vanguards.. very sad.

They are just fine at dealing with anyone provided you don't spam heavy attacks and work with the tools you're given.

    No. That is correct.

Even though Raider heavies are the definition of devastation, their lights are pretty invaluable for punishes.

I can't see the "tools".. For me, Raider is lacking some sort of reliable offensive combo that could deal damage.
Heavy strikes are so slow and predictable that you can just use them for feinting and if you manage to "punish" your opponent all you can connect to is a light attack.
That feels just weak compared the others

The Raider's tools are throws, easy feint acces and chaining an unbloackable attack into every combo.

The 3xheavy combo is indeed slow, but you never use it against an enemy your're facing in 1v1. Doing a heavy - light - heavy is usually better because you can switch attack direction on the go with decent speed.

    A true juggernaut

Since I first was made aware of this game I've been set on the Raider! Can't wait to finally get to try it out! Things will get bloody!

Youre in for a treat then. At first he seems slow and sluggish and it comes of as a major disadvantage. But once you learn to time his attacks, chain them and most importantly feint, he becomes a beast.
I mained him in closed beta and it seems he remained untouched since then.

Really wellrounded class with some serious hard hits.

Is there any point to smash opponent into the wall and punch him with a knee? It looks cool as heck but I've noticed that that move neither drains any additional stamina nor allows you to do heavy from it. Is it better to just throw back into unblockable?

    How exactly do you pommel?

Dash forward or sideways (A) and then hit light attack (RB).

As of now, no, unless you just want to disrupt your opponent's rhythm. Noobs might panic if they get kneed but you're right, Raider is the only Vanguard that cannot get a free heavy off a stun or parry. This will hopefully get fixed soon.
