My copy of the game is running on Uplay. In order to test on PTS, I have created new folder and copied all the files from the game to this newly created folder and updated the game. No problem. After the update I have also ran files verification. No problem either.
However when I log in the game, audio is broken. Cracking in the background and entire audio is speed up by at least 10x.
I have never experienced this issue with Live game. I don't experience it even now.
Game also does not remember my Subtitles settings. It's forcing them back to English.
I am not sure if this has something to do me copying files of Live game instead of completely downloading the PTS.
Thanks.
Hey, this may be caused by copying the game from the live version but it's hard to say. I understand it's a very large download, but could you try to install the game fully rather than copying to see if you still have this issue?
A similar issue was reported previously but we have had issues producing it on our side. Any information you can provide us would be great help!

I will run the download overnight to see if the situation will change and will respond tomorrow during the day.
I've just downloaded the PTS and there is cracking in the background and the audio is really fast.Originally Posted by Ubi-gabelikes Go to original post
Same crackly/poor audio here. Also getting poor server connection message onscreen, even though standard game plays with no hitches.
Happening here too. Sound plays very fast, with popping. Also have that "Poor server connection" notification.
Starts after the initial Ubi logo.
Happened every launch so far.
Did both an update from the main client and a fresh download, restarting the game and computer. Also reset audio settings and flipped between windowed and fullscreen. No change from any of these actions.
Haven't had this happen in the main client, and doesn't happen in it right now.

I have an issue similar to this, but after the crackle I lose sound completely. The sound eventually returns, but it happens quite often.
@Ubi-gabelikes, as announced yesterday, I did uninstall the previous copy completely and deleted the entire folder. I did re-download entire PTS client. The issue still persist after my short testing before I went to work today. Audio bug is still present there. If any kind of diagnostics are required, I can provide when I get home. But as of now, PTS is unplayable to me.
Okay, thanks for the information. I will forward this to the team.
