Shields have never protected you from anything, especially from explosions. They're mostly just for making noise while you walk around. If you want to be protected, pick Blackbeard. His shield can actually block Nitro Cell blasts if you're quick enough!

they only deal about 44 damage to 3 armor characters, you can barely kill one armor characters with 2 impact grenades, and two armor operators are the only ones who will get DBNO from two of them. either you werent at full health, there was more than one impact grenade, you were hit by something else at the same time, or omething strange happened and you shouldnt have gone down in the first place. if it was actually the final option then blame ubisoft as much as you like, and get them to buy better servers!

I saw a video on this and thought that was the case - it was a weird grenade throw in that it appeared to land on my head, but stlll. I thought I would be fine
