With the 2012 E3 trailer I could kind of understand it. It was years before the actual release and the game was far from finished. Recently however we had the gameplay demo with voice over of Colin Graham and it was explicitly said that this was footage from an alpha build on the PS4. So that means it was not on the PS4 Pro. That gameplay looked 10 times better then the footage that we see now appear on the Internet, which is often also from the PS4. I really wonder what is going on with Ubisoft. They made a point they would not downgrade anymore but this seems like the opposite. They said that they listen to our feedback and I wonder how they mist the feedback about being sick and tired of the downgrades.
I was about to post it, many thanks for share it!Originally Posted by RVSage Go to original post
I'm not seeing a downgrade because I have been watching gameplay footage, and that appears decent and consistent.
The original reveal trailer appeared to contain cinematic elements, and there was no statement confirming in-game capture, so I'm assuming some 'trailer-licence', there.
Other than that, it looked pretty solid, and I'd rather have responsiveness over ambitious graphical standards, particularly given the online segments.
