Longsword improvements and customisation in general
Graphical improvement first, because that's the simplest one. Basically, the longsword blades are too thick. Waaaay too thick. They need to be slimmed down not just to make them more realistic, but to make them more visually appealing. A thick sword simply doesn't look right. It looks like a plastic toy.
This is how the warden longsword looks.

And this is a real longsword.

Ignoring the frankly terrible sharpening job kult of athena have provided, you can tell that whereas a real longsword is a flat object, the warden longsword is basically two diamond shaped bars that blend together at the tip. It's atrocious. And the guard is equally oversized. It's not beautiful at all. For Honor isn't going for total realism, and that's fine, but that doesn't exclude being aesthetically pleasing to look at. Please make the longsword prettier, by making it slimmer and more like an actual sword.
Secondly, I have ideas for customisation options in general. Let us customise the amount of maintenance our gear has undergone. Having grimy gear with nicks and scratches is cool, sure, but so is having clean shiny gear. Changing colour details for weapons would add a lot for little effort, letting you pick between different coloured wrappings for your grip, or different metals for your guard, so if someone wanted to have brass, or gilded steel fittings for their guard and pommel, that would be possible. Wrappings are especially colourful and varied when it comes to Japanese swords. The Tsuka-Ito, which can be loosely translated as hilt fabric or hilt string, comes in all maner of colours.
Other simple additions that could do a lot to let players make a character that's wholly their own are details like battle damage. Some might want a gash across the eye-slit of the helmet, or a dent on the shoulderpad from a mace strike. Things that make it look like your character's been through some stuff already. For vikings you could add stuff like pelts and animal tails that you could affix to your gear. Being able to put a bear pelt, with head intact, or a wolf pelt on a berserker would make them look badass.
For knights, the warden already has the shield thing on their armour, so let me put my emblem on it. It would look super cool.
