I love the concept of Wildlands, and hope the game will be a fantastic co-op experience. My friends and I can't wait to throw our money at the devs for the game.
However, with mission-based open world games like recent FarCry games, Assassin's Creed games, even Shadow of Mordor, what happens when you've done the content and beaten all the 'bad guys'? I hope there is some sort of Game+ that allows you to keep playing after beating the game. Perhaps even something like FarCry has whereby enemies can retake outposts and such?
I just hope there will be more for Game+ than DLC mission packs.
It will be interesting to see what Ubisofts plans are for WL! With no PvP, it has to have functions like you mention (resetting outposts), co-op dlc/missions.. or even coop-PvP. A game with such a large beautifull map needs a lot of content for replay value.. or else it's gonna be dead in six months.
I hope we get to see some stuff soon! 'cause the videos from that "special E3 mission play" makes me wanna not buy WL. I will wait and see If they introduce some kind of "old school hardcore mode" so us fans of the old GR can enjoy it.
Map cleared ain't an issue, it is a good thing. I don't wanna see endless repeatable stuff that serves no purpose. Have new game+ for those that want it but I'd rather start new game if I would like to replay someday.
Also game being dead in six months... who cares? I can still install 15 year old games and play them just fine. Plus abandoning games soon after release seems to be UBI's bussiness model.
Not any more, perhaps.Originally Posted by Lolssi Go to original post

... the company pointed out that it's made an effort to create games that have "robust post-launch content, services, and support."
End game content is going to be huge for this title. FarCry 4 gave the ability to reset enemy outposts after they'd been cleared so that's potentially an option to return the map back to a hostile state. Another option is to have the ability to replay any mission at any time to try out new tactics, go for faster clearance times, or other such things. This was one of the reasons I was disappointed to learn there wasn't like a mission editor or something similar. Even something as simplistc as the Contracts mode from Hitman: Absolution would be welcome.
Yeah though, this is one of the gigantic concerns I have for this title. Hopefully, the open world setting will provide enough freshness and replayability even if the end game content isn't so good.
No reason not to, that can I see, Pilske. R6 keeps getting better and the Division is being thoroughly overhauled. You'll be able to add to your mitten and scarf collection even more from next week unless you get your *** back to rainbow with me and Richy where you belong.Originally Posted by I Pilske I Go to original post
